Chương 53: Food First

Princess Samantha took Zell and his companions through the city with her escorts. They passed through the streets which were filled with both humans and nonhumans, this was a kingdom where everyone lived together in peace. The street was lined with vendors of diverse types, each selling their own specialties, from foods to knickknacks; the economy of Kermonth appeared strong and the delightful smell of food filled the air.

"Princess, do you mind if we grab a bite to eat before meeting your parents?" Kaitlyn asked, her stomach growling.

"It has been a while since we had a meal." Zell said. "Would it be too much trouble?"

"No, not at all." Samantha replied. "Please help yourself to anything you find desirable. I will pay for it personally. As an envoy of peace, you are an honored guest of our kingdom."

"Fantastic!" Kilgon said. "So, dragon lady, how about you and I hit up a tavern and wet our whistles, maybe rent a room and I can show you how a dwarf wields a weapon."
