Viết đánh giáGreat story! I wish there were more gladiator battles and science/sci-fi, but it was still a great and interesting world.
Good pace, good translation and steady updates. World building is very good. My only problem with this story is that it's short and I want more.
it is a great novel its the first I have read of iet but I can tell why people like him I wouldn’t say the novel was a master piece but The way the mc experienced things the way we get to meet new characters The way we see other's suffering all feels so natural atleast to me that my immersion was almost never broken I have read shorter novels in which I get tired by 3 to 4 hundred chaps and have to read something else to recharge in this I didn’t even notice when I had read 700 chapters and only had 100 something left I like the ending it was a surprise for me now that I think about it I can recall 2 to 3 hints of the twist. Anyway the story was great 😁 Overall score 9
Last 9-part chapter is described by the author as a plot twist, but feels like a cop out. It describes what the novel could have been if the author didn't provide such a thick plot armor...
Good book, but not IET's best. I was really into it at the start, but the last 2 volumes kind of trailed off into meh. At least he ended it properly with a good explanation at the end. As another reader mentioned in the comments, the last part felt like what the story should have been, more exciting, but the author's skills fell short and he settled for this. 😅 In any case, I still enjoyed and stuck with it thru the end, but Archean Eon Art still remains my fave (indirect recommendation from same author, go read if you haven't yet 😊).
Amazing... I had a lot of fun reading this. After reading almost all the chapter iam not regretting about wasting my time. I have to especially comment about writing quality . Repeated words are rarely seen but i can say with certainty that author has fixation on number '3'.....Looking for more amazing works from author.
Honestly a good story. I just give it a slightly lesser rating because the translator hides the finale of the novel behind a paywall. The last volume was not the best either, as it felt like the author was only tidying up the story to be done with it. Still good though, but Not the same as the Volumes before. I read up untill chapter 780 or something until I realised the paywall issue. Dropped it immediately just out of protest until it is released and I think it’s not gonna.
Nice story, as expected from IET Read it till chapter 788, amazing story development Anyone know the raw link? Cannot afford the premium lol
I know that the original author will never see this, BUT I just want to express my disappointment that the author started with a ‘Modern Earth’ model, I don’t know if he had to incorporate a pro China background to his novel, but did Webnovel really have to show this to us Western readers? Like, I understand if the author had to do it as a mandatory obligation, for his country and all that, but why did Webnovel have to show “us” this? It’s not fun to read with the subtle rascism, nor is it helping the author’s image. I really enjoyed Archeon Eon Art, the image of humanity that the author painted was sublime, but the subtle rascism that is depicted in this book really saddens me. So I’m conflicted. TL;DR: I’m sad that one of my favourite authors displayed rascism towards western culture in his most recent novel, when literally EVERY single one of his other novels were bangers that hit straight to the heart.
Loved the story and can’t wait for the ending. But why are chapters after 788 not getting posted to general readers? They are locked away, please unlock!!
Honestly its the worse Swallowed Star. Rather read it than this, read like 500 chapters of this already and it doesnt compare to his old novels at all. I will continue reading this as far as it gets me since its IETs novel and not fully garbage fully but still disappointing. His old novels are way better and new novels are just copies of his old ones with different names and places.
read it, it's not like other novels and the final chapter is where it all comes together.no lose ends.
very good novel just the number of chapter are too slow please we need more chapters !!!! THANKS !
I have to say that I have read many books over the years and the list of books in library is long. If I had a ranking this would be in the top 10 for sure. I've read up to ch 638. The writing quality is amazing. The mc is smart and knows how to bide his time. The story can be a bit dull with all the training but the author does a pretty good job with moving the story along and changing things up. towards the later chapters things get really interesting and the author just turns everything around. I would recommend this novel to anyone.
Extremely well written story with good grammar, as expected by I Eat Tomatoes. Only gripe I'd that it's only 14ch/wk
Pure trash wash rinse repeat typical Chinese xianxia garbage and the update stability is horrendous don’t wast your time.e
Don't purchase privilege as the translator hold end of month dump for after the 1st. 31st is today and one chapter 12 days ago then one chapter 6 days ago uploaded then nothing until after the first.
I am a big fan of IET. I have read Coiling Dragon, Desolate Era, etc. I have waited for a long long time for this new novel. For me, this novel is roughly the same plot with a poorer protagonist's motivation. But, I am fine with that. But, what disappoint me most is the translator. I don't like his translation since Lord Xue Ying. As a non-native English speaker, I am not confident of my knowledge in English Use, but I found some sentences are rather strange. Sometimes I find the grammatical error and word choice are too intolerant. I don't recommend non-native to read this translation version. You might absorb the wrong English sense.
A well thought out and engaging story. It starts slow but picks up fast and keeps you wanting more. There is some, for lack of a better term, heavy handed nationalism in a couple of the more recent chapters, but I think we have all learned to roll our eyes and continue reading through it by now. Overall well worth your time, you won't regret giving it a chance!
This is a very well made novel with a unique and seemingly realistic cultivation genre. IET is a grandmaster in storytelling and I hope this one has a satisfying conclusion as it seems at chapter 566 the story had just started to become very interesting. I highly recommend this novel.
This novel has inflated rating - the author has a big fanbase. I used to enjoy his novels back when the new chapters appeared on spcnet forum, as we barely had any novels translated. I've checked out 1181 novels so far. I enjoy various novels, but they need to have this something that makes me continue reading. This novel lacks it, it's just the same iet over and over. Even the author of "Mortal Journey to Immortality" which we used to read like a decade or more ago could do much better with his newer novel "Big Dream Master". As for other authors nowadays, "I Hijacked a Timeline" or even "Immortality: My cultivation Has No Bottleneck" is much more enganging even if it's not even focused on fights.
