Chương 8: Time skip and Encounter
"Yeah really small it seems, my name is Jasmine by the way since you didn't bother to find out the last time we meet."
"Yeah I am really sorry about that but a family emergency came up so I had to deal with it."
Looking at her Damon finds himself confused, he was sure when he meet her the first time she was more beautiful than she is now, he was attracted to her but right now looking at her he feels nothing it has only been a couple of hours, not even a full day yet his feeling has completely changed the only thing he can think of that can cause this is the mating bond, he has not even meet Rosalie yet and he can't have any ideas about other women.
Damon wanted to get upset but knowing that would do nothing about the situation he is in the controls himself and just accepts it.
"What are you thinking about so hard?" finding his attention on something else Jasmine spoke
"nothing so are you going to show me around now ?"
"Of course, let's go."
Getting up and walking away with Jasmine as they toured the school she showed him the gym the library and anything else he needed to know the location of, as they walked they talked about everything their families, hobbies, childhood, and even school and as they talked they became closer, Damon may not see her as a love interest but he taught at least they could become friends.
After the tour Damon when to class the rest of the day then when home.
Time skip 1 year and 2months (Bella left for forks a week ago)
Time passed by and a year had gone by with Damon just going to school and hanging out with Jasmine his new best friend while he wasn't doing either of those he was in the forest using his powers running around just getting accustomed to switching forms.
Every day in the past year he has thought about Rosalie and the feeling of wanting to be close to her even if they have never met is getting stronger and stronger, making him wonder just how much longer can he ignore it, after all the only reason he lasted this long was that was not only because of his self-control but because every time he would zone out and think of Rosalie Jasmine would be there to drag him to do something that ended up taking his mind off it but that's been working less lately, but right now he has something else to handle as he walks down the road in dark night to draw out the person that been following him for a couple of days now.
When he first noticed it he didn't really consider the possibility that it could be something supernatural but he should have realized as the person would only follow him at night and the super sweet smell that would come from them all pointed to the fact that it was a vampire following him, as for why he had no idea.
This had been going on for a week now and at first, it didn't bother him but the smell is starting to piss Damon off hence why he finally decided to lure the person to a deserted place in the night. As he walked through the city heading towards the abandoned warehouses he can't help but think what kind of reason would a vampire start following him.
Finally arriving at his destination he looks around and sees one just abandon buildings completely empty just him and his little vampire follower.
Standing there Damon planned to wait a couple of minutes so the person could appear themself but it took far less time than he taught as he could hear someone rushing towards him turning around quickly he see and pale skin woman with blonde hair and red eyes dressed completely in black running towards him with fangs bared. looking at who seems to be running in slow motion towards him he can't help but laugh at how slow she is compared to himself.
Sprinting forward he grabs hold of her neck and slams her into the ground causes cracks to appear on her neck and the rest of her body from the force of which he slammed her, in response he receives a snarl for her after which she starts groaning in pain.
"Now question time, why are you following me?"
She ignored him
"Why are you following me?" he ask again this time digging his nails into her neck causing her more pain.
"Ahhhhhhhhh!"
"I'll ask again why are you following me?"
"I followed you because I was going to feed on you."
Hearing the answer he had already guessed his eyes turned cold
"So just a random pick ?"
"No I pick based on my own set of preferences and then follow them for a while watching them as a sort of entertain before feeding on them after a while just feeding randomly gets boring." the fear she was feeling caused her to respond with more information than needed.
"Are you alone?"
"ye ye yes I am."
"Well, then I guess this is goodbye" After saying that he clamped his hand that was around her neck close completely ripping her head from her body then going on to rip her limb from her body as well before taking a lighter from his pocket and lighting her on fire and watching her burn to ash.
"it's a good thing I came prepared with this lighter, although I could tell if she was lying about being alone more than likely if another was with her it would be her mate and no amount of torture would be enough for her to tell me where to find him, most likely he will find her and catch my scent and track me down and I will kill him as simply as that, just in case let me leave something to make sure he could find me."
Damon says as he pulls out one of his hair and drops it next to the pile of ash then speeds off back to his apartment. not knowing the trouble this one action will bring him.
Arriving at his apartment Damon can't help but say
"If only I could turn others into werewolves I would have people to do this kind of thing for me."
