As the group entered the cave, they were immediately bombarded by spider underlings, crawling out of the walls and ceiling. They attempted to jump onto the group and spew sizzling blue acid and silk, but the five of them took down any critter who dared to get close.
The passageway was quite wide, almost unnaturally so, and there were torches with blue flames on either wall on the left and right sides. Along with it was a set of murals, but the paintings had become way too worn down to make out.
Despite that, they still provided a clue. It meant this cave, whatever its purpose, was not natural. Someone—or a group of people—made this cave intentionally, with its sealing mechanic embedded as well.
