Chương 66: Clary Sage : Lavender

Clary's hands trembled as she brushed her fingertips over the smooth surface of the box. She had spent an hour carefully packing the gift. But now, as she sat before him, her anxiety soared. Summoning her courage, Clary took a deep breath and retrieved the box from her bag, placing it tenderly on the bed. "I wanted to give you something special to celebrate your speedy recovery. This is a small gift from me to you." Her heart pounded in her chest as she waited for his reaction.

Leandre was left completely stunned for the second time today. Not only had she prepared a delicious meal for him, but she had also brought a gift. His eyes locked onto the beautifully wrapped small box, decorated with a light purple gift paper and a matching ribbon tied in a neat bow. As he picked it up, he noticed a small note attached to it, reading, 'Happy fast recovery, Mr arrogant.' 

A smile tugged at the corners of his lips at the choice of her words. "May I open here?"
