Chương 8: Full of jewellery

"Yes, My Lady"
"Can't I skip corset today?" I ask with a pale face. "No can do, My Lady. And please don't fake your health. The doctor say you can at least run for 5 minutes, so this thing is nothing" Amy say sternly and my pale face becoming more pale than earlier.
"But why would I need to wear this? It just Big Brother coming home.." I whine while the others maid braid my hair into the style they choose because I didn't care about appearance.
"Milady, it's not just Young Duke. It is also the Princess and the wife of the Young Duke " Another maid who is choosing my necklace said.
This is a small celebration for brother coming home with the princess today but we still have to dress formally because of my reputation for the Princess.
"Okay..." I pout and the maids smile at my childish behaviour.
"Milady, We're done with your beautiful appearance!" Amy smile while all of the maids looks at me with excitement in their eyes.
The maids then show me a big mirror.
Blueish-lilac long dress that revealed my shoulders and my back a little. Flowers design at my top body with transparent sleeve and my smooth straight silver hair was styled as one braid and full of fake flowers accessories.
'Wow... The dress is full of jewellery!' I thought while touching my waist which was the most full part of accessories.
"And the last touch is this necklace.." The maid who chose my necklace put it on me from behind.
"This is one of the duchess precious necklace and it's fits you, My Lady" Amy say while the others wipe their tears. I just smile plainly at them.
Knock Knock!
"Milady, are you done?"
I hear a familiar voice so I quickly answered. "I'm done, you can come in, Ray!" I say to my personal guard. The door open and Ray, the white hair and blue eyes guy looks at me with widen eyes.
"Woah, Milady is so pretty" He proudly say and take his hand out. I chuckle and hold his hand.
"Thank you, Ray" I smile at him and he smile back at me.
"Ha... It just like yesterday you hug me while crying about your ripped doll" Ray say while wipe his fake cried. My hand which was hugging his arm slap him.
"We just different 7 years!" I say to him. He just laugh and pat my hand gently.
"Of course I'm just kidding. I love your active behavior because it seems that you got healthy day by day" He smile brotherly at me.
I just smile at him.
We then walk downstairs to the hall and I see Father fixing his sleeve button. I take my hand away from Ray and run to Father while pinch the both side of my dress so I don't tripped.
"Dad!" I say with a smile and hug his arm. "Aria" He smile and caress my head gently.
"Dad, am I pretty today?" At my question, he frown and I became confused. "Dad?" I ask again. "Nonsense, you're always pretty, not just today"
