"It seemed both sister and brother had held some sort of grudge against me. It would be nice to know the reason for that, so I could either defend myself for something I'm sure I didn't do or at least understand the roots of this hatred."
Dexter furrowed his brows and cocked his head to the side. He didn't speak for a full minute, but he kept his eyes on Miguel.
"You are wrong, Lord Miguel. I don't hate you." Dexter shook his eyes whilst keeping eye contact with the man. "I just don't have any reason to like you. To be fair, it is not a personal thing. I generally don't like the mainland and everything and everyone in it."
