***ADDIE'S POV***
After leaving the dining room, I thought it would be best to visit with the man who was alone. The one who seemed so earnest when he said he meant me no harm, yet still hadn't been able to cross the barrier on his own. He intrigued me, and I wanted to know more. Not to mention, it would be best to see the true enemies last.
I walked solemnly to the room he was being kept in. Hunter was standing guard outside, waiting for me.
"Princess Addie." He nodded at me.
"Hello, Hunter." I smiled. "Has he been any trouble?"
"None at all. He's been sitting in there sobbing nearly the entire time."
"Sobbing?" This shocked me. "Interesting." I thought about that as Hunter stepped aside, allowing Nolan and I to walk into the room.
"Good luck. I will wait out here for you." Hunter was a diligent and hardworking guard. I knew he would never let me enter a room with an enemy without wanting to at least guard the room.
