**ADDIE'S POV**

I can't believe that it was already almost halfway through winter or, should I say, the Cold Season since we weren't in Athea. The term wasn't quite half over yet, but the season was. And this was all simply due to the fact that the term started two weeks into the season. It was an exciting time, that was for sure. Everyone seemed to be talking about or preparing for the ball during every free moment that they had.

Over the last few days, I had to cancel the tutoring sessions because everyone was more focused on the ball and their clothes, hair, and whatnot. I would have liked to study with them though. I didn't have to stress as much because I already had everything all figured out. My attendants had planned my hair and accessories the moment that my dress was chosen. And that was it for me. There was nothing for me to do.
