Chương 62: Still A Prisoner

After I wiped that small amount of wetness from my eye, I got to my feet and followed Susanna out of the room. I knew where the dining room was, I had seen it the night before. So, without needing to be shown, I went to find the 'Master' of this house.

I thought about telling him how Susanna had treated me. Telling him everything that she had done to me and how she had acted this morning. However, I didn't. I didn't know if Isaiah had told her to treat me like that or not. I didn't know if this was just par for the course since I was a lowly human, and I had been living in the disgusting part of the city where all the Lesser wolves were from.

Isaiah and the three servants here, Susanna, Keith, and Demetria, were all from this wealthier side of the city. They lived with money and luxury. Even with my family, I would be nothing more than a peasant to them. Now, I was a filthy piece of human scum that was invading their territory. Or that's how the servants would see it.
