On a cloudy night, the moon hid behind dark clouds like a shy girl. The moon was not visible in the starry sky because of the dark clouds that engulfed it like a veil, making the night bleaker and muffled.
In the middle of the night, a light wind blew. The refreshing wind spread at dusk and dissipated the remaining warmth of the past summer. Mother Nature did not forget her children, she sent the wind to cool off her children at the end of a difficult hot summer.
Accompanied by a night, the business owners lowered their shutters and set off for their homes. Some would go home and sleep, some would spend time with their family, others would drink to relieve their loneliness and the stress of work.
The owner of the last shop, which was open in the dark of night, lowered its shutters and disappeared in the dark of night to go home.
A young man was coming out of this store. He had young, healthy white hair. With black eyes and black feathers as dark as nightfall, his white eyes showed that he was not a disease.
His hair, which was white up to the hair follicles, was too natural and healthy to contain any dye or substance.
The white-haired teenager walked alone down the dark alley with a bag in his hand. As the empty street filled with the young man's footsteps, his steps accompanied the night wind.
As the youngster continued to walk through the dark and unintended street without fear, he pulled his phone out of his pocket. After opening the program to text his friend, he took a picture of what was in the bag in his hand.
[Blake: Mike, I got it. Here's his picture. *Photo.jpg*]
[Mike: Oh, good-]
[Mike: Wait, that's what I saw over there???]
[Mike: Are you lying, signed? Did you get a package with the deceased's signature!!]
[Blake: Yep.]
[Mike: SELL TO ME. Sell it to me. I'll give you two, no, three times the cost. Just sell it to me.]
[Blake: I'm sorry, I'm thinking of leaving this as a family legacy to my grandchildren.]
[Mike: Grandpa...]
[Blake: I don't remember having a grandson like you.]
As Blake waited for his friend's message, a smile appeared on his face. He didn't care about giving him or selling the books he had, unlike Mike, he wasn't a fan of such books.
If Mike kept insisting, he could sell it to him or give it to him. After all, unlike him, Mike was crazy about books like this.
But he chose not to. He liked making fun of Mike.
[Mike: Ighh... You bully, I hate you.]
[Blake: Stop making fun of me, or you'll lose even the smallest of thoughts I've ever had to give you.]
[Mike: Did you watch the anime I told you about?]
[Blake: It was a quick transition.]
[Mike: You told me.]
[Blake:...]
[Mike... ]
[Blake: I haven't watched yet. After the last time I watched it, I was a little hesitant.]
[Mike: I told you not to watch MHA in the first place!]
Blake sighed helplessly. It was true that Mike warned him many times. He didn't listen to Mike because he thought his choice was a good idea.
Blake was an 18-year-old boy who had just finished high school.
He had natural white hair and a good look. But other than that, if you ask him what's best, Blake would tell you about his academic achievement.
But it wasn't because he had a big IQ or because he was smarter than his peers. His academic achievements were high because while his peers were young, Blake spent every hour and second studying.
Test books, questions, formulas, numbers, and words were his best friends and he devoted every spare hour, every spare second to his lessons.
Blake's background wasn't as good as the people at his school. While the parents of some were doctors and pilots, some of them were singers and celebrities. Blake's family is;
Farmer!
It was the farmers who made their living with crops and had to work in the fields most of the day. They had to protect their crops from excessive sun, rain, snow, hail, and all kinds of harmful conditions, and some days they could even lose sleep.
Blake was the child of such a family and was proud to be a part of such a family.
But his pride didn't change that there were challenges he had to go through. While others were hiring private tutors, taking lessons from the best teachers and taking private courses, and building their future with the support of their family, Blake was trying to achieve something by dedicating every second to studying.
Unlike the others, he was aware that his family does not have much income and knew that he had to give up something to achieve something.
Blake had no problem with that either. Every day, he grit his teeth and cling to the idea that he would live a good life in the future.
But there's a limit to everything. Even the hardest rock was doomed to turn to dust after a while.
And Blake's limit came when he finished high school.
He was bored. Bored with lectures and formulas and numbers and words. What he wanted was to relax for a while and spend time like his peers.
He was a part of it in what Blake was carrying in his arms and arguing about with Mike.
Comic Books.
Blake made it to a good college. It was below the best, if not the best, in the country and it was every young man's dream. However, Blake froze his enrollment for a year despite winning such a university.
It's a year of lessons, and he wasn't going to get involved in anything about it, and he was going to do what he wanted. He even had a list.
The list stretched from making friends he couldn't make in high school to anime and comics that his border friends talked about all the time, and he had a lot of other stuff.
[Mike: I'm going to bed. I have class tomorrow, see you.]
[Blake: Cya.]
Looking at Mike's message, Blake thought of the first time they met.
Making a friend was something Blake couldn't do because of the lessons, so he couldn't get a girlfriend or have a friend to talk to.
He met Mike on his way to freeze his record. Blake went to talk to the principal of the university to freeze his enrollment, while Mike was on his way to complete his registration.
Blake met Mike and befriended him. One of his goals was accomplished that day, blake finally made a friend.
Anime and comic books were two of Blake's big goals. At school, his classmates talked about it all the time. Especially about animes.
"Sasuka Ainz-sama", "Esdeath-sama", "Onii-chan", "Loli", "Chuunibyou", "Isekai", "Truck-kun"... These and other words were the words Blake kept hearing in his class. At first, he thought it was a trend that friends produced or that had been trending in recent days.
Over time, he learned that these words are anime culture. Anime lovers use such words all the time.
While hanging out with Mike one day, Blake found out that he was a senior "Weeb". He was an 8-year anime fan.
Comics, DC, Marvel, Superheroes... Although they had a large audience, they were less popular than anime. Blake preferred this genre to anime. And surprisingly Mike also had a great deal of experience in this genre.
Blake decided to talk to Mike and get advice on these genres. He asked what should be the first anime to watch, what genre should it be, and similar questions, and as a result, he decided on Toradora anime. [EN: The first anime I watched. It's a series that I really like, from the plot to the characters, and it's the anime that makes me watch more anime.]
"Ahh, the more I remember, the more I get nervous." Blake's fingers holding the bag full of comics tightened as he remembered the anime he was watching.
That day, he left Mike and went home to watch the Toradora anime. He saw a promotional poster on the road. The poster was the poster of an event where various animes were cosplayed and several anime photos that could be cosplayed were engraved on the poster.
He saw a poster there that interested him. It was a visual photo of an anime called My Hero Academia. [--->]
Blake's interest was captured looking at the poster, he just wanted to watch the annual, even if it was visual, and quickly began to watch as he went home.
And he regretted it.
The reason was the main character. Watching the main character cry all the time during the first season was very frustrating for Blake.
He was excited after learning that Mc was Quirkless in the first episodes. The reason was that he thought that he would be a nice character who tried to overcome the intelligence of the main character and the weaknesses of his opponents' Quirks, without Quirk, but this idea fell through over time.
The main character draws strength from hero number 1 and for some reason was crying in every situation. It was a complete disappointment for Blake.
Blake repeatedly asked why the main character was crying so much. He didn't say anything about crying in bone fractures. At the time, Blake's arms were trapped under a tractor while helping his family, and he knew what it was like to break a bone.
His problem was that in situations where he didn't need to cry, for some reason he cried or almost cried.
Finishing the first season by clenching his teeth, Blake's interest in anime faded. He planned to take a break for a few days and then come back again.
He didn't come back and hasn't seen a single anime since. He forced himself to watch anime, but his first impression was so bad that he always gave up in the end.
Having given up on anime, Blake devoted himself to comics and decided to read a few starter books. After arguing with Mike for a while, he soon decided to buy a package that was planned to be released a long time ago, but whose release was delayed due to some troubles.
The first episodes of all the famous characters in dc and the marvel universe were included in this package. The package was recommended by Mike to make up for his poor experience.
''-lp''
Actually, Blake read the first chapters of his comic books at Mike's house. He bought this pack because he liked most comics and wanted to have one of his own.
''-elp''
The package did not include the first chapters of the comic book series, but also a lot of comics in a single book containing chapters 1-2-3.
"Help me! Please help me."'
"Shut that woman's mouth."
"I'm trying, boss, but her constant kicking is making it difficult.''
"Then hold it tighter or tie it to something. We need to get out of here now."
As Blake dived into the thoughts, he heard voices coming from an alley near the street full of people. The voices were the cry of a helpless woman and the voice of two men.
When Blake turned his head around, he saw every person passing through the area with distressed faces. They didn't seem to want to get involved in something that had nothing to do with them.
No, they were scared. Blake could see how people were averting their eyes and avoiding the dark alley by pulling sideways on the road. They're doing it because they're scared.
"Natural..." Blake shrugged his shoulder as he continued to walk. Although he wasn't scared like the others, he didn't want to go into the dark alley for a lot of reasons.
Only a fool would enter a dark and narrow alley without any preparation or training. Except that the street was dark and narrow, Blake hadn't had any melee training, in such a situation he couldn't do anything even if he walked in heroically.
It wasn't known how many people were in the alley, there could have been more than the person they heard, and if they swooped on him, he wouldn't even have a chance to escape. It was also unclear if they had a gun with them.
When all this was taken into account, only a fool would go into the alley.
After Blake shrugged his shoulders, he continued to walk as if nothing had happened. Despite all these setbacks, there would be people who would go into the dark, narrow alley and play hero by trying to save her, but Blake wasn't one of them.
He had no intention of becoming a hero.
Blake put his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. After looking around quickly, he found what he was looking for and headed for his target.
"I'm sorry..." A few seconds later, he reached his destination. He was in the sight of an ordinary police car standing in front of the coffee shop with red and blue lights on it.
Blake had no intention of helping her directly, instead, he would help her differently.
"Hm?" With Blake's call, the police officer turned to Blake, who was leaning into the police car and handing his friend the other cup of coffee he was holding.
Blake's suspicious appearance and the way he tilted his head and concealed his face raised police suspicions. As he secretly put his hand to his gun, the look on his face didn't fluctuate.
"I heard a woman screaming and a couple of men screaming in the dark alley over there. I think there's been a kidnapping. I decided to come to you because I didn't know how many people were inside and I didn't know if they were armed." Blake turned his body to avoid the watchful gaze of the cop trying to see his face inside his hoodie.
Police followed Blake's finger and looked into the dark alley, which people specifically avoided. People passing by the alley were especially avoiding it after taking a single look at the alley with a painful look.
"Come with me." The officer gently slapped his friend's shoulder with the back of his hand.
"Wait here." He said two words when he walked past Blake. He put his hand on his gun and quickly began running to the scene.
"Of course..." His voice muted and he whispered in a way that only he could hear. "It's like I'm going to get in trouble like this."
Pat!
When he quickly intended to leave the scene, he collided with the police officer who exited the car. While Blake was staggering, the bag he fixed to one finger fell to the ground.
"I'm sorry," The police officer who got out of the car ran towards the scene after apologizing without looking back.
"It doesn't matter." With a wry smile, he began collecting comics that came out of the bag.
Crackle!
"Oh, it's dirty." Ignoring the light and thunder that lit up the night, he tried to clean up the dirt and dust that was covered in comics with his hands.
After making sure he cleaned it properly, he put the bag on the hood of the vehicle and tried to tie it in a tight knot after putting the comics in it. But it failed.
It was hard to close the bag because of the number of comics. It took a few minutes to tie the bag with a little stretch. He didn't want to carry a bag like a child, he made sure it was tied well several times.
Dip! Dip!
"Damn..." He lined the bag on his arm so that the water came through the mouth of the bag and didn't affect the comics, and he turned around to leave.
"Hey! You, STOP!''
Blake had already turned to leave when he heard the policeman's voice behind him. He raised his hands in the air and slowly turned his back.
"Policeman, I'm not guilty. I said everything I could and I intended to go home. I just dont want to-'' Blake's eyes opened slowly as he explained himself. He was waiting for a scene in which a police officer ran at him to stop him, but the scene was completely different than he thought.
A man the size of a pine split was running towards him. The officer was shouting at the man to stop him running after him with one hand on his gun.
When Blake and the big man came face-to-face, a crooked smile appeared on the man's face. He found a way to escape the relentless chase.
He pointed the gun at Blake. As long as he shot Blake, the police would let him go.
The scene in Blake's vision slowed down. The movement of the offender's finger pulling the trigger, the policeman pulling his gun helplessly, and the pair's running speed slowed down. They didn't actually slow down, they just seemed to slow down in Blake's vision.
Click! Bang!
CRACkle!
He heard the sound of the trigger being pulled, the explosion of the gun, and the stifling noise of thunder at the same time. The smell of gunpowder filled Blake's nose, and he felt severe pain in his chest.
Tsss!!
Not only did he hear the burning of the flesh, he felt it in his body. The burning sensation inside was unbearable. But unlike the heat in his chest, his limbs felt icy. The power to his legs went out and he fell on the sidewalk.
"You can't be serious..." Between weakness and cold, his mouth filled with a metallic taste. He couldn't hold the blood in his mouth any longer and threw up. Blood coming out of his chest and mouth at the same time caused the pavement to be painted red.
CRACKLE!
The sound of thunder filled the city. The light of the white lightning caused the whole city to light up for a few seconds. Even Blake's darkened vision lit up for a few seconds.
"I'm sorry, boy, but you have to die for my escape." Blake's enlightened vision was filled with the criminal's cheeky smile.
He was in a good mood, as opposed to killing a criminal. He could see the police were already heading for the teenager who had been shot, and there was no one nearby who could chase him. As long as he ran away, he was free.
"You bastard!" Blake's anger is through the roof. A force gathered in his arms, which he did not know where it came from, and held the criminal's leg.
The criminal lost his balance with the grip on his leg and fell to the ground. His face hit the ground, his nose bones were broken by hitting the curb, and clean parts of the red-painted sidewalk were painted with his blood.
"Unlike you, I'm not sorry, asshole. You're coming with me. '' Despite being on the brink of death, he smiled cheekily to show his bloody teeth and raised his last strong middle finger on his body to the culprit.
The officer quickly arrived and kicked away the offender's gun before aligning his arms behind him. After aligning the offender's arms with his hands, he pressed his knee against his back.
"I want backup! I need immediate backup to the scene. For three wounded, two lightly and one seriously-' The sound that filled Blake's ears began to become muffled with every second that passed.
"Hang on, boy. Support is on the way." Those were the last words Blake heard. He could no longer hear anything, his moving hand and his hand clenched in the form of a fist. As the cold feeling he felt in his limbs disappeared, all he had left was his only vision.
"It's beautiful." Blake couldn't hear, he couldn't feel, maybe he couldn't even breathe. But his vision was very clear. The dance of white lightning in dark clouds, like a fish floating in the water, was captivating.
The sky was putting on one last show like it was sending Blake off. Amid the pleasant lightning dances, the swelling flashed.
CRACKLE
His ears, which he thought he could no longer hear, were filled with thunder. His thoughts were replaced by a comfortable sleep. Right now, all he wanted to do was close his eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
And he did. Blake closed his eyes with a pleasant smile on his face and fell into a deep sleep with the melodic tone of thunder sounds that were scary for others.
Never to hear again, never to see such a beautiful sight again...
Never wake up again.
"BOY! BOYYYYYY!!!!'
Amid human screams and police shouting, Blake fell asleep and his heart stopped beating. His organs, which could not receive blood, stopped after they had done their duty for the last time.
Fuuuu!!
In the noisy environment, the dying body took its last breath. But no one could hear it. The dying body's final cry, its last struggle to make its presence known, dissipated amid the noise.
CRACKLEE!!!
Maybe someone heard about it. Mother Nature roared to let him know that She had heard of her son and had sent him off. As she cried for her son, who had no sin, the dark clouds flashed among the clouds, which were now illuminated by lightning.
The roar of the sky frightened the police and the criminal. The thunder was the loudest they've ever heard in their entire lives. It was so loud, even the people who escaped froze with fear.
CRACKLE!! CABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!
The dark clouds containing the lightning have finally dropped their cargo. While the sound of the thunder that shook the whole world echoed in the city, the lightning directed to the earth illuminated the world for a few seconds like the sun.
Lightning strikes at the speed of light. İts target was Blake's body, who died.
The officer shielded his hand from his eyes to protect his eyes from the lightning that landed and engulfed Blake and the police vehicle. But it didn't work and he had to close his eyes.
After a few seconds, the brightness of the lightning dissipated. The dark clouds relaxed like a man holding his load. As the lightning dissipated as if it never existed, all that remained was the rains descending from the dark clouds to the earth.
As if mother nature was mourning for her child as if the world was crying, rain that had never been experienced before began to fall in the city.
The police officer opened his eyes. Where there used to be a body and a vehicle turned into a burnt crater, and there was nothing left.
Hello again folks. I've finally started republishing the series, and I'd like to give a few details.
First of all, I'll be publishing chapters every day until I get to chapter 50.
Except Saturday. That's my day off.
I don't have a fixed timetable for now, so any time of the day can come.
Finally, the series is only going through my hands and I do a lot of trading. Translation/edit/edit again, it's all done by me and I don't have the money to give an editor, unfortunately. So please excuse my mistakes and help me with my mistakes as the series progresses.
The pure gold hills were flat and clean as if they had been sandpapered over. There was not a single protrusion, stone, or pit on the plains leading to infinity. Every piece of land the eye could see seemed to be flattened and polished to the end.
The air of this clean, golden area was just as interesting. Unlike the blue-white sky, it was pure white. It was understandable from the sky that there were no people here, not a single pollution.
It's been a while since Blake opened his eyes in this environment, and he's getting bored. He didn't know how much time had passed because there was no sun in the environment. In the end, he started counting the time out of it.
3 Days, 7 Hours, 21 Minutes, 58 Seconds!
That's exactly how long he's been waiting for the interrogation angel. Angel, devil, buddha, god, anyone, or an interrogation angel had been waiting for 3 days for someone or something to come who would question him and judge him for what he had done in the world.
But that thing never came.
"I think it's time for me to move on." Blake made up his mind when he stood up and got nervous. If no one was coming to judge him, Blake would go to his feet.
Blake began to move forward after taking a last look around before leaving the field.
Blake's body wasn't a human body. His body was golden and white and translucent. Extra limbs, such as fingers and the tip of their feet, were translucent and the place where their legs should have been was empty.
In the middle of his body was a golden orb. The sphere glowed like a sun, emitting a brighter, pure glow than most people around it.
Blake took action after working for a while and getting used to the gliding process.
The process of flying was not as difficult as he thought, all he had to do was tilt his body slightly forward and his body was starting to glide forward.
As Blake moved forward, he saw people floating around like him. These people did not have as clear structure and bright spheres as he, but there were others like him
No one contacted each other as the spirits progressed. Although they sometimes ran into each other, they continued to move forward after a glance.
They were already dead and had come to the other world to be tried. From now on, friendship, human bonding, or something like that was irrelevant. Meeting a few people wouldn't change the final result.
"A little too plain and flashy for heaven, too warm for hell..." Blake became suspicious after a while. He's already starting to think he's where he's going in the afterlife.
As Blake's suspicions began to grow, he finally encountered an entity.
The being was what he could call a human being. He looked a lot like a human being, and he was wearing a suit. At his feet was a banner. But the reason he thought he was different from himself was that his appearance was as clear as a real person.
"I finally met someone. Hey, sir-'' As Blake glided towards the man, the words on the banner were attached to the tip of his eye.
''I Want Eat Your Pankreas!''
Blake, who saw the man's writing, glided back for several feet. He looked at the man with suspicion, disgust, and confusion. He didn't think that the man or anyone else would say something so disgusting openly or write it like an ad.
"Should I call the police?" He stood between his thoughts. He barely thought this was the afterlife.
"That's right, there are no police here." He set the man aside and, after making sure he kept his distance, glided in the direction behind him.
Blake met a human again at the end of the process. Blake, who had learned from the previous campaign, looked at his type and then the banner in front of him, instead of turning to the person.
The person in front of Blake was a woman. She wore a tight-fitting t-shirt and revealing trousers. Combined with her bob-cut hair and she had the beauty that surpassed most women in the world.
What made her stand out were the Japanese words on both cheeks, drawn in black pencil.
''Your Name''
"My name?" Seeing the sign on the banner, Blake decided to leave this woman on her own.
"3 gatsu no lion"
''Non Non Biyori''
"Silent Voice"
''Domestic Girlfriend''
''Horimiya''
''Violet Evergarden''
''The Pet Girl of Sakurasou''
As Blake progressed, he saw more people with banners. Each was dressed differently from the other, and each had different clothes than the other.
As time went on, Blake realized that the functions of these banners and names were completely different and also familiar.
"They look like street dealers." According to Blake, the people here were no different than street vendors. He even saw some of the people he saw talking to some of the spirits and ultimately taking them somewhere through a portal.
As Blake continued to walk, the mood began to change. People and banners changed, replaced by stands. Made of various wood and various wooden materials, various names were written on the tops of the beautiful stands.
"Could this be? isekay... isekay... isekai and reincarnation." When Blake was confronted with the name "Bakemonogatari", which Mike mentioned at the time, Blake began to notice things.
The more he thought about it, the more incredible it seemed. Reincarnation was something Blake said could happen and wasn't chasing after it, if it existed, he would see it when the time came. If he didn't, it was something he didn't look for because he didn't lose anything.
But despite everything, he didn't think it could be reincarnated to imaginary anime. No matter what anyone thought, it was impossible. Anime, born out of the dreams of several people and created to entertain certain audiences, was not real.
He moved through the field with complex thoughts in his head.
During his march, people began to see the compounds. He was particularly interested in the one-story building blake saw on his right.
That's because of the glittering knives hung on the shop windows. Each of the blades was of different colors and characteristics; The flamethrower that surprised Blake, a black sword that emits a dark air and can even be felt through the glass, and its varieties were hung behind the glass as if it were an exhibition.
[Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut]
Grr!
Blake's stomach rumbled as he moved forward. Instead of a normal feeling of hunger, a weakness that engulfed his entire body spread throughout his body. As his vision dimmed for a few seconds, he tightened his will to stay afloat.
"What the hell is that?" He felt a great hunger as if he hadn't eaten in years. The feeling of hunger was unbearable as if all the cells in his body were dying for a piece of food.
When Blake's mind was struck by a feeling of hunger, the golden globe in the area of his chest struck like a heart. With each shot, he felt a saturation that radiated from his body to his limbs.
"I think… I need to eat something to satisfy my soul."."' As Blake stared at the amazing scene, he began to look for a place where he also had something to eat.
As a result of the search, he came across a building. The building looked like a restaurant, windows were laid on either side of the door and it was possible to see inside. In the section separating the tables and the dining sections, people blake couldn't see their faces were sitting and eating.
[Food Wars]
"I know that." Blake remembered that the name of the anime was written on the flyer where he decided to watch the MHA anime
Blake went inside to get something to eat. When he came to the door, he put his hand on the doorknob.
"Wait! If I go in, will I be reincarnated?'' Blake didn't get used to the reincarnation of anime worlds, but he accepted it.
He clearly remembered his death, and the great feeling of hunger he had just felt could not be fake, however much he tried to deny it, he accepted that he was now in a reincarnation phase.
And he didn't want to take his chances. It was unclear whether he would ever have a chance to reincarnate again, and it was also not known if he would be given the chance to go out once he walked in. That's why he didn't want to make a bad choice and waste his only chance.
He didn't have the ideals of power, wealth, fame, domination, and he didn't want it. All he wanted was not to be fragile enough to die in a gunshot or an accident in his new life. If he was going to die, he wanted to die peacefully in his bed.
So Blake decided to be extra careful when choosing.
He took his hand off the doorknob and turned to leave.
Pat!
But before he could get too far, he shook his head with a man and lost his balance, and fell to the ground.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't looking."
"No, I have to apologize. I had to look ahead when I walked in."
Blak apologized as he rubbed his head, while on the other side he apologized in a tired voice.
The guy's voice was the most tired Blake's ever heard. It was like an empty voice, tired of life. Succumbing to curiosity, he opened his eyes and saw a man in a neat, clean suit. Unlike his clothes, his hair was messy and he had a dirty, shallow beard on his face.
"Then I'll go my own way." Blake wanted to travel as much as he could before a new wave of hunger came along. He shook his top before he left.
There were a lot of buildings in the goldfield where Blake was found, and each one had a variety of features. Some were as small as a shed, some were buildings as big as a two-three-story building, some were a training ground, some were a western house, buildings of all kinds were scattered throughout the golden area.
"S-Sorry..." When Blake came to a school building called [Assasination Classroom], he heard a tired and frustrated voice behind him.
When he turned around, he saw the man he was bumping into. The man was holding a bag. Inside the bag were a drink bottle and food made of rice.
"Yes, what was it?" Blake frowned. He didn't think he'd come after her.
"Take this, please." The guy handed blake the bag. With his fallen shoulder and hunched back and tired smile, he had a harmless profile.
"Thank you. But why are you giving it to me?'' Blake looked suspiciously at the man as he picked up the bag. He was already dead once, he didn't think he'd die again, and if he did, he didn't think he could do anything to the locals.
Food was becoming important after Blake's previous experience. He didn't know what would happen at the end of hunger, maybe his soul would disintegrate or he would lose his only chance and go back to eternal sleep.
Maybe he was going to be sent to a random world. Blake had no idea, and he didn't want to know. So he needed food that could feed his soul, no matter what hand it came from.
"I just want to help a stray soul and get on the good side, increasing the likelihood of coming into my world." As the man scratched the back of his head with one hand, he made his intentions clear. He then pulled a business card out of his suit.
"Take this, please."
Blake took the business card and looked at the writing on it that he could understand, even though he couldn't read it.
[One-Punch Man]
"I'll think about it. Thank you."' Blake put the business card where he thought it was in his pocket.
"Then I'm on my way." The man leaned slightly towards Blake before turning around to leave.
"I'm sorry, I wanted to ask you something." As Blake watched from behind the man, he decided to ask a question he had been wondering for some time and stopped him.
"Yes, what was it?" The man raised his eyebrows in doubt as he returned to Blake.
"Why... You're so tired?'' It might have been a bit of a private or unnecessary question, and it didn't fit the situation at all, but the man's abnormal fatigue aroused Blake's curiosity.
"Oh... 'The man had a wry smile on his face. Before answering, he sighed in a tired, crumbling way.
"Repairing cities, renovating buildings, reinventing the world, creating new ones instead of dying people, constantly producing villains..." The man covered his face with his hands and continued to explain in a weeping voice. Every word came out of his mouth with psychology on the edge.
Blake decided to sneak out after listening to the man's overlapping, depressing answers for a while. He took one last look at the guy from afar. The man was so immersed in spilling the beans, he didn't even know he was gone.
After a while of wandering around, Blake's body began to fill with hunger. Before the Golden Globes began beating like hearts, a feeling of hunger engulfed his body, the previous time.
Blake immediately took the food out of the bag. The food the man gave him was "Onigiri", a Japanese food. As a scent of meat that made it clear it was full of meat rose from the food, sesame seeds were sprinkled on it, and "Food Wars" was written with roasted sesame seeds in the middle.
"Gulp..." When Onigiri's scent got to his nose, his mind trembled. The harmonious smell of rice and meat caused him to swallow a mouthful of saliva.
Blake couldn't take it anymore and took a big bite of onigiri.
His eyes widened as the landscape changed. The broth exploding in his mouth, the salty but pleasant taste of rice, and the crunch of sesame filled his mouth. The fascinating view of the rice paddies in his sights added to the main pleasantness.
"Food Wars..." Blake wrote this world on the back of his mind. If he couldn't find any anime, he could go to this world.
Blake continued his walk with food in his hand and saw buildings representing various worlds.
After about an hour, he saw a building that attracted his attention. Or rather, he saw a building that was still under construction, the area where the building was going to be built was under construction, and that's what got Blake's attention.
[My Hero Academia]
A wooden banner with the familiar name was on top of a stand. The stand was empty, there was nothing but a bell and a piece of paper.
Behind the stand, various human beings were working. Using a variety of features that Blake thought of as Quirk, they removed large rubble, placed pieces of wood and concrete, and built the house.
After looking around for a while, Blake started walking in front of the stand. He was hesitant to choose the MHA anime as his only choice. Knowing his world and part of the future, he had to think about it, even though it would benefit him.
What Blake was doing now was finding a place to take a breather for a while and finding answers to the questions in his head.
Blake walked to the stand in a few steps.
What was written on the paper was: 'I'm not here right now. If you have business with me, press the bell on the table."
Blake rang the bell, the only item on the table besides paper.
Thing!
"I'll be right there." As the bell sounded, a pleasant voice could be heard in Blake's ears and the field.
The next minute, a woman appeared on the other side of the stand. The woman had pink hair, purple eyes that complimented her pink hair. She had spotless skin, soft milky skin, and thin facial features.
She had a short but voluminous body, her hourglass figure teamed with good proportions and slender limbs. She was by far the most beautiful person in Blake's world.
Blake froze for a few seconds when he saw the look. She was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. But after a few seconds, he picked himself up.
"I came to ask you a few questions, but..." Blake spoke in an unstable tone as he looked over her shoulder towards the construction site.
"Should I come back later?"
"No, I'm off now. Construction is just an evolution and it has nothing to do with us." The woman spoke with a slight tone and a small smile as she waved both hands slightly.
"So, I have a few questions, so I hope you can answer them."
"Go on, please. It is the duty of people like me to help lost and helpless souls like you." The woman's words raised more questions in Blake's mind, but he decided to go with the simplest.
"Where is this place? Am I in some kind of reincarnation phase?'' Heaven, hell, the yellow river, and other worlds of different religions, the world in which he was found was unlike what Blake knew.
According to Blake, the land was more like a holiday destination than a reincarnation site.
"People like you who have entered the reincarnation stage and are successfully re-incarnated call it the "Second Chance Way". We call it the Golden World. It doesn't matter what you say. İts mission is to serve as a transit zone for those who have earned the right to a second life." The woman spoke slowly for Blake to understand.
"Hm..." Blake put his fingers to his chin. After thinking about it for a while, he asked the other question. "How did I get my second life? As far as I can remember, I haven't done anything in my life to deserve a second life."
Blake was the son of a farming couple and had lived on a small farm all his life and had given himself up for classes when it was time for school. Saving human life, feeding orphans, donating money, etc. He hadn't done anything useful.
The woman stared at the golden globe on Blake's chest for a while before answering Blake. After half a minute, she turned to Blake.
"I see you're the child of a farming couple, and that's enough to give you a second life in itself. This is due to people feeding on a farmer's crops. The crops feed or satisfied everyone, young, old, male, female, orphan or homeless, regardless of who they are."
"This situation returns to you farmers who grow the crops carefully. Even if it's 1/10,000, years of painstaking work have finally turned into an avalanche of good karma that can't be underestimated, and it's got you back to your current state. I mean, a second chance." Her words were based on credible and logical reasons, and her fluent speech and hand gestures helped Blake understand the essence of the event.
Blake nodded at her words. The knowledge of the cause of his second life was not that important. It was only a little strange that he was entitled to a second life as a result of his selfish life.
"Then why am I reborn in the world of anime? There were a few religions in our world that believe in rebirth, and they all said that my memories would be erased and I would be born in a new world. Being born in anime is a bit surreal." Blake spoke with skepticism.
Although I can't tell you exactly why, reincarnating into worlds you call "anime" is one of the options. If you refuse to reincarnate into these worlds, you may be sent back to the normal cycle of reincarnation. Would you like?'' Blake nodded at her words.
Going into a normal cycle of reincarnation was something he didn't want after what he saw. Unlike the anime worlds, it was unclear whether Blake would gain superhuman strength in the normal world. Maybe he'd be a normal person like his previous life, maybe he'd gain superpowers.
"Can I gain things like superhuman power in normal reincarnation?"
"I don't know. I doubt anyone here knows."
50%/50%, if Blake chooses normal reincarnation, that's the probability. It could have been even lower, but the most reasonable rate was 50/50.
I am writing again. Episodes can be quite similar. Until 8-9-10. chapter. There are some minor changes, but overall it will be similar.
