Chương 2: Bride-Choosing Ceremony
Sixteen years later,
There was news that was resounding everywhere in every corner of the nation.

So if both of them caught the eye of different Princes also there is a benefit, The Lord is sending many from his town, there will be certain tests, in every county and if they are passed then they will be sent to the capital, there will be a final screening, then they will be presented to the Royal family, and from there one person would be chosen as per Prince's interest and love.
Many are eager to reach the capital and present themselves in front of the Royal family, but City Lord has the confidence that these two daughters of this person will surely get selected may it be as the bride of the Seventh Prince or mistress of any prince, but they all certainly brings the benefit for him and this town.
His abacus was good, and it was certainly ringing loud.
That person didn't say anything further, just obeyed the order.
"Okay, I will let my both daughters be ready for this," Hearing this, the City Lord laughed out loud in happiness.
"Good, Good, don't worry, your both daughters will surely catch the eyes of the Royal family and bring grace to your family, after all, daughters have always been useful to make relations," The City Lord patted the shoulder of that person.
Even though he didn't say anything outright, in his tone and eyes there is disdain for the women because he always regarded them beneath the men.
They can either be toys for men to play with or can be used in exchange for benefits.

The City Lord was sitting there and it looked like waiting for someone.
Suddenly some person came out of the dark and knelt in front of the City Lord.

"Master, in the capital regarding this bride-choosing ceremony there was big chaos in the court because those ministers in the court aren't willing to let the Seventh Prince marry any commoner but from the family of Nobel.
Because of that many even sent the reports, which made the King furious and the Majesty punished several misters, and warned that this will not change in any case." The guard who was wrapped in dark clothes said.
"Did you get any news about this new situation?" The City Lord felt this situation was weird.
"Forgive me, Master, I wasn't able to get any first-hand information, but there is some news in the Nobles that this proposition was from the Seventh Prince himself, and as the Prince who is loved by both King and Queen, The King readily agreed for this," the dark guard said with an emotionless tone.
"Oh! Why did this Seventh Prince propose such a request? What is hidden beneath this proposition? Did you get any other information about this?" "Get up, I think what you got is maybe not much useful but anything is better than nothing, and the Seventh prince is a pervert, and if you enter his mansion then you may not be able to come out alive, you did a good job by not entering.
I also think others also have the same information as you have, but I am afraid with this ceremony the wind of capital will change, what we need is just to stay put and find the person who will go long way in this and maybe even win the throne, and support that person, so we can enjoy our life safely" The City Lord got up and said while looking at the moon.
