Chương 55: Anna - 1

The world around Anna was really cruel and cold like a blizzard storm in the middle of a moonless winter night.

The last thing she remembered was for the entire world crumbling around her. The pressure she felt was immense and unbelievable, felt like her soul was withering away.

Only one face remained before her eyes, a face of a nameless hero who she knew and didn't know.

But for some unexplained reason she wasn't dead. She was quite sure her life would wither away and she wouldn't be able to live even for one more second.

"Please…"

Just as she opened her eyes and looked all around, a soft tone whispered and echoed softly all around. The world seemed like a calm lake that just got an uninvited small rock to splash over its cool surface.

"What?" Anna couldn't see anything beyond the darkness that covered her. And yet she craved to hear that voice again. She wanted to know who was speaking and why.

Why did that person say this to her.
