Chương 11: 11. Loyalty of Brother.

He wasn't worried about Austin because he knew that his brother had another car that the latter drove here to bring the traitor.

The car stopped, and he got out after putting his phone in his pockets. Just as he got out, the men and women in the building stopped chatting. They even stopped moving as they stared at the man in black suit in front of their eyes. Most of them looked at Dylan with a trace of fear in their eyes.

This building was actually the main headquarters of the pack, Diamonds. That's right, the name of the pack and mafia business under Dylan was the same. It was basically that most of the people working in his mafia business came from his werewolf pack. Of course, there were a few humans to make sure that his business wouldn't be targeted by others.

The presence of humans made it possible for him to keep an eye out for danger. He had installed humans on the places where it would be dangerous for the werewolves to arrive. It made it possible for him to stretch his business in all directions. That was how he managed to create such a big Empire that took the topmost stage from the first year it was established.

At this time, Dylan came back to his pack for one reason: to meet his childhood friend who had returned after so much time. After that, he would use that person's help to find out more about his mate. Before he could walk toward his office, he saw a familiar figure, walking towards him.

The man stopped right in front of Dylan and flashed a grin as he patted the Alpha's shoulders. "You didn't go too far, did you?"

Dylan didn't get angry at this gesture, and his eyes got increasingly softened at the sight of this man. Even though his face remained expressionless, the coldness in the eyes reduced to a larger extent.

The man shook his head as a smile formed on his lips. "You'll never change, will you?"

After talking like this, the two of them wandered away as a few of the people standing in the corridor gasped in surprise. One of the men standing there turned toward his colleague standing beside him. "How could that person be alive after touching the Alpha's shoulders like that?"

To all the members of this pack, Dylan was a person who was cold and expressionless, and he would break the arms of anyone who would dare to touch him. Many girls who were trying to seduce him were killed by his hands. He would even glare and fight with the people who would glance at him for more than five minutes.

So the people who joined the Alpha's office just recently were baffled after seeing a man talking to Dylan in such a familiar way, and even getting out of it alive.

The colleague chuckled and said, "That's because the man is a fifth in command, and the Alpha's childhood friend. He's the only person who managed to deal with the cold hearted Alpha, we all know."

The person who had asked that question silenced as he nodded at his colleague. Just as he was about to say something, he felt someone's cold eyes darted towards him. He felt a shiver down his spine, and he instinctively looked back toward the source of that stare only to see a man in suit standing in the middle of the corridor. His French beard didn't only make him look handsome, but also gave him a cold and icy look. The man's full lips pressed in a thin line as he stared at the two people standing in front of him coldly.

This man was Austin.

If there were ladies around here, they would scream and giggle amongst themselves while sneaking a glance at him every now and then. This person was famous for being as handsome as Dylan, and there was a good reason for that.

He parted his lips and said in a cold voice, "Gossiping in the middle of the day. I think you guys don't have enough work to do."

The two colleagues standing in front of him shivered from head to toe. They lowered their heads as they trembled. "Sorry."

After that, they both sprinted off from there.

One of the colleagues, after reaching a safe point where that man wasn't present, stopped and took deep breaths and said, "Why is Mr. Austin even colder than the Alpha?!"

His friend shook his head and said, "You don't know anything about him, do you?"

The first colleague frowned and tilted his head as if he were completely bewildered about what just the man talked about.

The second colleague shook his head and continued.

"There's a reason why he scolded us. There's a rule of this headquarters. If you talk about Dylan behind his back, even if it's a good thing, you'll be scolded and sometimes punished severely by his blood brother, Austin. The reason is that, Mr. Austin hates it when someone gossips about his brother. He is ready to kill that person who talks ill about our Alpha."

"But shouldn't he be happy if someone talked good things about the Alpha?" The first colleague didn't know why this strange brother was like that. On one hand, it seemed like he loved his brother, but on another hand, he didn't like it when someone else spoke good things about the Alpha. Were all the big shots contradictory like this?

The second colleague knew what his friend was thinking about. He glared at the man and said, "Stop thinking about useless things! Are you even part of the Diamonds pack? There has been an incident in the past where people spread rumors about the Alpha, and by the time it reached Mr. Austin's ears, the truth was distorted to the point that it almost looked like fiction. That rumor almost created trouble for our Alpha. Thanks to Mr. Austin's hard work saved. Otherwise, things would have gotten crazy back then."

Realization stuck on the second colleague's face. "No wonder why Mr. Austin was angry. He's extremely loyal to our Alpha!"

"Of course, he is!" The first colleague hit his friend's shoulders and said, "Let's go before we get caught again."
