Chương 9: 9. Fangs serves right.
The man named Evan was frozen from head to toe. He didn't know that humans could change into werewolves, and he didn't think that a wolf could be as big as the one he was looking at. Blood drained from his face. His lips trembled terribly as he stared at the wolf unblinkingly for the fear that the man would end up pouncing on him if he were to close his eyes even for a second.
Dylan, who had just transformed into a werewolf, looked deeply at Evan with his cold, dark eyes. His eyes narrowed at that person as a loud roar, as loud as a thunder echoed from his throat. It was so loud that the person standing before him couldn't bear it anymore. He closed his ears tightly with his palms on both of his sides, but he still couldn't bear it. He felt a stinging sensation deep in his ears that made it difficult for him to breathe.
Thankfully, the roar stopped as Evan took deep breaths and thought of how he ended up in such a drastic situation.
He was just a common man when one day he was offered a great deal for obtaining information from Dylan's mafia business, Diamond. The rival mafia businessman, who offered Evan such a tricky job, was from another mafia firm called the Nightwalkers.
These people were the second most deadly people who would fill every common man with danger. People would tremble at the name Nightwalkers before the Diamonds came into existence.
As soon as Dylan established his legacy from the scratch, he took up the topmost stage instantly, kicking the Nightwalkers to second place.
That was the reason why the Nightwalkers wanted to get rid of Dylan and his entire business. They were eager to get more information, and were already approaching people working in the company, especially the humans.
Until now, only Evans was the person who had agreed.
Evan's eyes wandered at the werewolf standing in front of him. His body trembled at the sight of the wolf coming closer and closer to him.
Evans had another urge to piss in his pants. He took a shuddered breath as he glanced at the wolf.
Back when he had started working under Dylan, he had been told already about the existence of the werewolf. He still remembered the face he had made a few years back at this comment. He had snickered at the man who gave him information, clearly not believing in something like this.
After that, he did get adjusted to the idea that most of the people working under Dylan were wolf's from his own pack, but he never would have thought that these wolves would end up becoming so powerful and mighty. It wasn't until Dylan changed right in front of him shedding his clothes to show off his sexy abs.
His entire body would surely attract a lot of girls. The body had glistened under the moonlight that reflected on him through the window. Evans could almost imagine a few teenagers giggling and staring deeply at the man.
But Evans felt far from that. He was so afraid after seeing the boss changing from human to wolf that he trembled continuously.
His lips pressed in a thin line as he thought of how careless he had become these days! He had been selling out information to the Nightwalkers for the past year without getting into trouble. And these days, since no one followed him behind, he had become careless. So even in the broad daylight, he had started selling out information without any hesitation.
That was his only mistake. This was how he caught the sharp eyes of this man named Dylan.
But he didn't think the werewolves would be so dangerous! Just by looking at the wolf in front of him, staring at him with his icy cold eyes, he trembled over and over again.
Evans gritted his teeth and got up on his feet. That's it! He didn't want to die just yet?
After thinking of that, he rushed toward the window. Since no one opened the door, he would just climb out of the window. He ran with his heart on the edge as he kept sneaking a glance at the wolf. He had thought Dylan would come and attack him with all his might, but the wolf stood, staring deeply at him. Dylan's tongue licked his teeth as he stared at the traitor.
Before Evan could open his mouth and yell, Dylan in his wolf form jumped onto the man.
