"No?" Aurora repeated his words. What was so bad about having his brother and friend over for dinner?
"You seem surprised that I can say no to you. I don't want the two of them in my house and let's not pretend dear brother that you enjoy visiting me," Vincent reminded Victor.
"Of course, I don't." Vincent knew that Victor hated coming to visit because Vincent would try to make him share some of the work of taking care of the community. Victor didn't want to do that. And also, everyone always wanted a favor when they knew he was going to visit Vincent. However, he could stand it if it meant speaking to Aurora and finding out what she had been doing.
There was more than enough time for Vincent to have alone time with Aurora because the man lived with her so why was he being so stingy?
"Then I will go to Victor's house for dinner without you," Aurora replied, surprising everyone else. Victor smiled while Vincent frowned.
