"Hmm, it's just a matter of personal fascination, I suppose," I said. "I can control the blood within someone's body; like I can speed up the flow, or slow it down, or turn it off completely."
"But if you do that..."
"Yes, if I turn the flow off, they will die right away, or suffer from a heart attack," I said. "Isn't it amazing?"

"You are," I said, cutting her off. "Look at how your small hand is shaking. But why are you scared? Haven't I reassured you enough that I will not hurt you? You are the only person I will never hurt. I love you after all."
"Do you use this power a lot?" she asked.
