''Me? I'm just you're passing through friendly neighbourhood grim reaper'' Karmine answer.
After Karmine said that, without hesitation, he disappeared from where he stood, causing the shogun eyes to widen before she quickly reacted by swinging her spear behind her, blocking an overhead strike from Karmine.
'Was that a teleportation? No, I could still see a glimpse in his movement, so it means that it is a movement technique, but from the look, he has not mastered it yet.' The shogun thought
Karmine seems to predict this already, quickly extend one of his arms and grab the handle of the shogun spear and pull her closer to him while swinging his hand that holds his sword upward, readying to strike down the shogun who is being pulled toward Karmine.
Shogun didn't seem to panic; she quickly disappeared in a flash of purple light and reappeared in the centre of the area, but her eyes quickly widened when Karmine also appeared in front of her, with his sword swinging in an upward motion, nut the shogun was able to dodge Karmine attack by sidestepping, be it barely.
The shogun quickly took this opportunity to counter-attack, swinging her spear and enhancing it with purple electricity; she swung it horizontally from left to right. The spear cut Karmine across the chest, causing blood to be spill out of it.
But Karmine didn't seem to care about it. He swings his zanpakuto again in response to the shogun attack, but again the shogun was able to dodge his attack, leaving a trail of purple lighting after image behind.
This keeps continuing for a few minutes; Karmine swing his zanpakuto, the shogun dodges the attack, then swing her spear as a counter-attack leaving more injuries behind Karmine body; Karmine then will respond with another attack, causing the cycle to repeat for a few minutes.
Not only that, the shogun keep switching her stance between her spear and sword to land an attack on the Karmine body.
After some time passes, Karmine body is covered in blood and injuries while his Blut Vene is activating to stop the bleeding while also trying to defend against the shogun attack. But even then, on Karmine face, the grin on his face is still visible in his face, and a quiet laugh can be heard coming out from his mouth, even though Karmine seems not to notice.
As for the shogun, her breathing is getting quite rigged; she might not be using all of her power, but putting injuries on Karmine body requires her to put all of her physical strength into swinging her spear. When coming to her physical strength, it is not her best suit; when coming to a fight, she usually relied on her power as an electro archon and her technique to overwhelm her opponent.
But in front of her is a man that doesn't care about any of that. When she swung her spear or sword, he ignored it while took it a chance to counter-attack. Every time she strikes Karmine with her lighting, he tanks it and pushes forward while also trying to attack simultaneously.
Even when she used her Musou no Hitotachi, he would take all the damage like he was not threatening. Even with her Musou Isshin, Karmine ignored it and pushed forward, not caring about how many cuts he received, not caring how many times he got electrified, not caring how much blood he lost. Karmine ignored it and kept pushed forward.
But what really disturbed her the most was the ever-present grin on Karmine face; it was always there, no matter how powerful the attack, no matter effective the attack was, the grin on Karmine never faded from his face.
Karmine looked at the shogun in front of him; even though the grin on his face might indicate that he was enjoying while also excited about the fight, he was not; in fact, the grin that on his face was for something else.
'This bitch keep dodging my attack. I really want to kill her,' Karmine thought. Showing that the grin was not there because of the excitement he felt in this battle, he has a grin on his face because he felt excited about the thought of killing the woman in front of him, even though he seems not to notice that.
He was fully annoyed that he could not land a single strike on the shogun, and the fact that he kept receiving the attack from her was starting to really annoy him, and he knew full well that if this kept up, he would without a doubt died here.
Suddenly the world seems to lose its colour, and everything seems to slow down for Karmine before he hears a voice in his head.
[You seem to have a lot of trouble here, master] The voice of the mask zanpakuto rang out
'Obviously', Karmine answer back, 'You have a plan or something?'
[Not really a plan but, I do have a way to deal with this] The mask zanpakuto replied
'And that is?' Karmine thought back
[I will tell you my name] The mask zanpakuto answer back, causing Karmine eyes to widen.
'Just like that? I thought there would be more to this' Karmine answerback
[Of course, there is more to this, but if this keeps up, you will die, meaning we will die, and that is something that all of us don't want to happen. And besides, you might know my name, but that doesn't mean you will be able to master me immediately. Not only that, since we are technically in the inner world, you will be able to hear our name much easier]
'Then why is it that you are the one that lends me help? And not other zanpakuto?'
[Well, out of everyone here, you have the most bond with me, making it the easiest for you to hear my name. Of course, you have more bond with Yachiru, but her power is too much for the current you to handle] The mask zanpakuto answer
'Well, that fine, then how about you tell me your name now?'
[Of course, master, my name is ...]
The world seems to regain its colour, and time starts to move properly again. Karmine power starts to increase, causing the shogun to immediately put her guard up while teleporting away to make a distance between her and Karmine.
In her eyes, Karmine aura had changed, before it was the mix between all kinds of different colours, now, his aura only has one colour, and that is the pink colour of a sakura tree, not only that she can also sense a lot of power coming out from Karmine.
De-materialising her spear, she quickly summons her sword, readying for anything that is coming toward her.
Karmine looks toward it before putting his zanpakuto in front of him while also pointing it toward the sky. With a deep breath, he mutters.
''Scatter, senbonzakura''
~Outside world~
''Ah!! Flower-chan, that cheating!! I want to tell K-chan my name first!!'' Yachiru said, stomping her feet.
Surrounding her is unconscious bodies of all the guard in the castle. When Karmine disappears, she is left behind; she knows that she can easily follow Karmine wherever he goes, but Yachiru wants to hang around the outside world a bit, so she decides not to follow Karmine.
And when she was alone, she was attacked by all of the soldiers inside the castle, but she could defeat them very easily.
Suddenly, someone appears behind her, with purple eyes, long, muted pink hair tied at the bottom, and fox-like ears. She looks at Yachiru with a frown on he face.
''Oh my, when I heard someone is causing a lot of chaos at the castle, I did not expect to find the cause to be a little girl.'' The woman said
Yachiru turns around with a smile while also waving her hand.
''Hello!! Are you here to play too?'' Yachiru ask
''No, no, I am here for something else. Do you were, the shogun is?'' The woman asks
''You mean Lightning-chan? Well, she was fighting K-chan before suddenly they disappeared in a purple light!!'' Yachriru answer excitedly
'Lightning-chan?' The woman raised her eyebrows.
'That means Ei, decide to drag whoever this K-chan is into her mind, well I guess that makes the most sense.' She thought before looking at the pink hair child in front of her.
''Are you not worried about whoever this K-chan is? He is fighting the shogun, you know? Do you not want to help him?'' The woman asks
''HAHAHAHAHA!! It's fine~ K-chan was enjoying the fight, or think he is anyway, so I would never interrupt his fight. Besides, there is no way K-chan would lose, after all...'' Before Yachiru can finish her sentence, the air starts to crack.
Purple lightning starts to appear, and the air starts to crack like glass before bright light appears in the area.
When the light disappears, there are now 2 new figures in the area.
Of course, one of them is Karmine, standing tall with a handle of a sword that has no blade in his hand, with his body covered in cuts and blood from both him and someone else; he is surrounded by dozen of sakura petals. While this may seem to be a grieves wound for anybody, for Karmine, this is nothing.
But what is most surprising the most is probably the other figure in the area, and that is, of course, the shogun herself. Kneeling on me of her knees while using her sword as a crutch. Her body is cover in many cuts while blood also covers the body and her purple kimono seem to turn from purple to red, and one of her eyes seem to cover in blood.
She could be seen out of breath, and it was clear she could pass out anytime soon.
''As I said, there is no way K-chan would lose. After all, he is the strongest,'' Yachiru said
A/n
You know, I said this would be the final chapter for this arc, but I was wrong, next chapter is probably not gonna be the last chapter, but then again, I don't know will I change that or not.
