“The campus is beautiful. See there in the brochure.” Enzo pointed at a picture taken in color in the spring. “This building is the Guggenheim Library, a wing of which is the Guggenheim Cottage. The Cottage is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.” Enzo gestured toward the library. “…and Wilson Hall was once a private residence.”
They walked around campus for about an hour. “Are you hungry yet?” Enzo put his arm around Gray’s shoulder.
“Yeah, I am.”
“Let’s go to Max’s.” They walked back to the lot and got into the Audi. Within fifteen minutes, they were sitting at the counter in Max’s, chomping down on hot dogs, onion rings, fries, and fried mushrooms.
“I can’t believe you put ketchup on your hot dog!” Gray looked at Enzo in horror.
“I like ketchup with relish on my hot dogs.” He grinned. “Is that a deal breaker?”
Gray punched him in the arm. “It should be, but it isn’t.” He giggled.
