“Nice if who came to our place?” Sean asked, and everyone looked at him.
“My kids. I was thinking it would be nice for them to play with yours,” Joonatan filled in, looking relaxed and only a little hesitant.
Sean guessed that was because he wasn’t sure how Sean would take plans like this. “Sure. Whenever you want them to. We just need to be careful—”
“Of them not getting the hint, yes, Mikael explained it to me.”
“We won’t tell, Daddy!” Jamie, his blue eyes sparkling with enthusiasm and the kind of sincerity only little children are capable of, promised.
“Did Maxim shift for you?” Sean asked, sitting down on one of the couches, and pulled Jamie onto his lap.
Joonatan nodded and grinned. “It was awesome!”
Maxim chuckled from the armchair. “You should’ve seen his expression when I headbutted him on the knee.”
“You shifted here?” Sean asked, surprised that Maxim had felt comfortable enough to shift in the large, yet still cramped, living room.
