“Hey, Perce.”

Percy grinned at Gregory. He’d decided to video call one of his two closest friends because he was very excited, and he felt as if he was going to burst if he didn’t get to share the story of his wonderful evening with somebody. Fortunately, Gregory had answered the call almost immediately, and Percy could see the three-dimensional image of his best friend’s head and upper body appearing right above his paper-thin smartphone. He held on tightly to his smartphone as he reclined against the back of the leather seat. He hated that his phone was rather small. It was only an inch in both length and width. He had to be careful not to misplace it. Otherwise, it would take a really long time to locate it, especially when he put it in silent mode. However, it was the latest model, and Percy needed it for work because it had the best specifications.

“Hey, Greg. Is this a good time to talk?”

“Yeah. I think I’m done for the evening.”
