"Ok, let's calm down."

"I've gone back in time, how?"

I pondered this question and after around 20 minutes I finally figured it out.

Maybe the cliff was one of the rare portals named Temporal Rifts.

These rifts would have a slight chance of appearing when some people were faced with near-death situations in specific areas.

The rifts could cause a variety of effects like teleport them away or heal them in some cases.

But this was the first time a rift could turn back time.

I shook my head.

Was I just incredibly lucky?

No, it couldn't be possible.

Racking my brain, I came to a conclusion.

The rifts were based on thoughts.

When I was pushed off the cliff, I hoped that I could turn back time so I could see my mom and dad.

This was actually a blessing in disguise though.

If it was the present, I'd have a bounty on my head.

I shuddered at the thought.

"Oh well, I won't be chased anymore."

This time I shall live my life like I want to.
