As Kaya boards the carriage she feels three gazes on her but ignores them and sits next to the wall and stares out the window. No one speaks and the atmosphere is so tense you could almost cut through it.
"Your Grace, we have arrived." The coachman reports.
Everyone steps out and walks to the ball room entrance. "Kaya, do not to embarass me." The duke warns. "Yes, Duke."
"Entering, Duke Charmain, Young master Damon, Young master Demus and Young miss Kaya." The family confidently enters as the doors open, gracefull walking down the stairs.
"Wow, look at Young master Demus."
"No, look at Young master Damon!"
"Looks like the daughters here as well."
"Every noble has to come, why else would she be here?"
"Sshh. Quiet, what if someone hears you?!"
The Duke walks in one direction with Damon in tow whilst Demus walks towards a group of people around his age. Ofcourse, everyone leaves Kaya by herself, the people around gaze at her from time to time but don't try talking to her.
She honestly prefers it that way though, she walks towards the food and takes a slice of cake before heading to an empty belcony. She sits at an empty table enjoying the view of nature and the moon, a soft wind sways her sparkling white hair and the sounds from the ball slowly fade away.
Suddenly, the sound of a door being opened accompanied by the sound of a few voices come from below.
"Haha, Duke Charmain, your sons are very excellent."
"Thank you."
"Their achievments are not small! You master Damon is already an A rank adventurer and young master Demus isn't far behind!"
"Yes, i've heard that they contributed a lot with the last monster wave!"
"Hmm." The duke replies in a bored tone.
"Say, Duke Charmain, has your daughter chosen a fiance yet? It's about ime right? How about my son? He is my heir."
The voices quieten after the man proposal. The Duke remains silent for a bit before replying,
"Send a formal letter Marquess Brosn."
Kaya narrows her eyes, 'looks like I need to speed up the date of my departure.'
After a while she walks back inside, just in time for the royal families entrance.
"Entering, His majesty Alex Steinlair, Her majesty Rose Steinlair, and Crown prince Ace Steinlair!"
All of the audience bows as the royal family enters.
"You may stand!" The kings orders.
Standing on the stage is the king, queen, crown prince and the second prince that came earlier. The kings looks like he is his early twenties, black hair and red eyes where as the queen is blonde with light blue eyes. The crown prince is the copycat of the king whilst the second prince looks like his mother.
" Welcome everone to the crown princes magic reveal and 15th birthday, with out further ado, Ace, come up."
The crown prince walks to the middle of the stage and puts his hand on a large orb. As soon as it makes ontact with his skin it shines a bright blue and a bright purple before changing into a dimmer black colour.
"*gasp* Legendary dark magic! And lightning!"
"As expected of the crown prince, 3 types of magics!"
"A legendary, rare and common!"
"Dark magic!"
"Wow! lightning magic!"
The remaining time of the ball was full of people sucking up to the royal family, even little girls were trying to appraoch the crown prince.
