Thoroughly enjoyed this book and hoping there’ll be a series based on this Story world. Realistic fiction at its best! Looking forward to the next work from this author.
Excellent read. Intrique, passion gone awry, family fight over inheritance .. the author keeps you engrossed throughout the book. A face-paced, tight storyline filled with suspense, abit of noire and a good dose of humour in between. All set in a part of the world which is dear to me. The writer is detailed and descriptive, so I felt I could visualise every scene and was captivated by the characters. Loved it. I hope there is a Book 2 as I want more of Robert & Jackie and do tell even more of your devillish villains' new wicked machinations ...
Not only the story is great and engaging, but I also find the footnotes to be very interesting to explain the terms that I am not familiar with before. That's a sign of a very insightful author right there. Great job and best of luck!

Well-written novel and author did her research well. Couldn’t stop reading the first eleven chapters right through. I plan to finish reading this book! Good job!
Impressed with this book. It contains many footnotes fhat are accurate. The story line is good and keeps reader interested all the time. The location tags also help to keep track of story as it progresses.

Clever writing and a very interesting plot. I was a bit stressed at first on how the female protagonist was portraying very emotional conflicts and real thoughts that a woman in her position could think of.
The beginning itself captures attention and leaves the reader wanting to find out more. Can't wait for the whole book to come out to see what happens!
I have not enjoyed such a good read in such a long time. Firstly, it is based in a Malaysian setting so it is easier to relate to. Secondly, it builds each character and evolves them and it comes together with that touch of leaving you with questions. Cant wait to get the book when it is out.
I liked it alot. It makes you want to continue reading and it gets more and more interesting. Characters and story built up is good and interesting to capture my attention.

Have only begun reading the novel yet can't help but hooked to the intriguing plot and compelling protagonist. As someone residing in Malaysia, thoroughly enjoyed the scenery descriptions. Kudos to the writer for creating a very well-written novel. [img=recommend] -R

Love the attention to detail! Using regional and job specific terminology really helps you get immersed in the story. I also really appreciate the footnotes, I’d be lost without them. A good read that gets you hooked within the first chapter 🙂

The story opens with a character in need, and she's faced with a decision she must make that will impact her on a deeper level. This is the first work I've read by this author, and I find the content engaging and each chapter leaves me wanting to see what will happen next, especially to Jacqueline, who I find to a highly relatable character. I look forward to reading more of this body of work. :)
Great storyline, keeps you hooked and coming back wanting more. Still on this book and has become my new favorite. 5 stars for me. Hope to see more work from this author!

Your story has an interesting start and I'm finding that the development of character is very good. The footnotes explaining the titles are very useful in understanding the essence of that world. I really like your writing style.
