Chương 3: Chapter 3: Basketball Game
After leaving the house, Khun started to take a walk and enjoy the view of Tokyo City. Along the way, Khun saw many interactions made by local residents. there are interactions between adults and adults, interactions between adults and children, and also interactions between children and children. Khun who was studying it became more and more interested in the lives of the local people.
While enjoying a walk around the district, Khun suddenly found a park that had many children and adults sitting there. Adults were talking to each other while children of the same age as him were interacting with playing and doing similar activities.
Intrigued by the location, Khun immediately walked towards the park he found while watching the various interactions that the children had. Khun's attention is focused on children, because according to Khun, children are interesting things to learn, especially since he is now in the body of a 6 year old child.
Khun walked around the park looking at the various things the children were doing. There are many activities they do such as playing stealth, building a sand castle, and playing other activities. At the same time, Khun suddenly stopped and focused on a boy who was playing basketball with enthusiasm without anyone else accompanying him.
Khun walked over to the boy and kept his eyes on the boy's activities. Khun was attracted to the boy because almost every child in the playground was in a group, in contrast to the boy who was his focus, who only played alone but still had an enthusiastic smile.
Suddenly the boy's game stopped after he saw Khun who was staring at him. The boy looked at Khun with a happy smile as he said,
"Hey, do you like basketball too? Do you want to play together?"
Khun blinked his eyes as he looked at the boy and said,
"Is it okay for me to play with you? I see you are very happy playing alone. I am scared; if I come to play I will disturb your fun"
"Ha? What did you say? In the game of basketball, the more people who come into play, the more fun the game is. Let's play together"
Seeing the enthusiasm that the boy gave off, Khun could only nod and walk towards the boy while saying, "Then how do we play this game?"
"Don't you know how to play basketball?"
The boy asked in disbelief looking at Khun. Khun shook his head hastily and said,
"No. I know how to play this game. It's just my previous question. What method will we use? Do you want to shoot or do you want one on one?"
The boy's eyes immediately got excited after knowing Khun knew how to play the basketball game.
"So you know how to play this. Then how about we play one on one?"
"Does not matter. How do we determine who will be the attackers and who will be defending?"
"What if we determine it through long shots?"
"Long shot?"
The boy nodded and immediately ran 5 meters from the position of the basketball hoop while drawing a horizontal line on the ground saying,
"We will shoot from this distance. Whoever puts the ball into the basketball hoop first, he will be the first striker"
"Fine."
Khun nodded and took the basketball beside him and brought it closer to the boy. Khun immediately handed over the basketball and said,
"Since you are the owner of this basketball, you go first. I want to see your technique."
"Good."
The boy nodded while grinning excitedly. The boy immediately took the basketball and started to take a shooting position. Khun who saw the shooting position that the boy was taking was a little surprised,
"For a child who is 6 years old and has a position like this. This kid has a great talent for basketball. I'm sure he will be a great athlete; if he studied this sport"
The boy with his strength immediately shot the basketball. The basketball bounced high and headed straight for the basketball hoop which was 5 meters from the position of the two of them. However, the curvature of the ball was a little too low which allowed it to touch only a small part of the basketball hoop.
"Oh, dammit! Just a little more to get in."
The boy said annoyed that the ball he shot didn't enter the ring. The boy immediately ran towards the basketball, took the basketball and immediately brought it back and handed it to Khun,
"You are next"
"Okay"
Khun nodded and immediately took the basketball given by the boy. Khun himself has no experience with basketball. Not only basketball, but he also has no experience related to various other sports. It's just that, with battle experience, his life is already very long. To shoot with a distance of 15 meters. For Khun, this is very easy. Almost like flipping a palm.
Khun immediately imitated the shooting body movements made by the previous boy. After feeling that his posture was good enough, Khun immediately jumped while throwing the ball forward. The basketball curved beautifully in the air like a parabola.
The basketball slowly began to move towards the ring and began to fall so smoothly that it did not touch the ring at all and only touched the net. The boy beside Khun was surprised to see this,
"Amazing~ How did you do it?"
The boy asked excitedly after seeing Khun shooting.
Khun just smiled and said, "I have some experience with shooting. Hey, because I was the first to put the basketball into the ring. I will be the first to attack."
"Well. But remember, I won't hold back. It won't be easy to get past me."
The boy said proudly of his skills. Khun just smiled and said,
"Okok~ But remember that too. I myself am not only good at shooting. But my ability is also quite good in attacking. I hope you won't give up easily"
"Give up? Dude, you said that to me wrong. In my life dictionary especially about basketball. I will never give up. The stronger the opponents I will face, the more interesting the game will be."
The boy replied to Khun's words with enthusiasm and showed no regress.
"I will remember your words"
Khun smiled happily as he saw the boy immediately turn around and walk away to get the basketball. While watching the boy walk, Khun was thinking about something, "I better hold on to my strength. It's not good to use excessive force, let alone just against a child. At least I just need to be equal or not a little higher than the strength that this kid has."
Soon after the boy came back with the basketball. The boy immediately handed it to Khun and said excitedly,
"Let's start."
Khun nodded and immediately took a stance to attack while the boy in front of him immediately took a defensive stance. Khun gently started bouncing the basketball while looking forward.
However, it did not make Khun wait long. The boy immediately drives forward to steal the ball in Khun's hand. Khun didn't let his defense down either, he took a step back, pivoted quickly to avoid the boy's hand trying to steal the ball from him and made a high-speed drive forward past the boy's left.
"Very fast!"
The boy was very surprised to see the speed used by Khun. The boy suddenly turned around and found Khun who was already in front of the basketball hoop while doing a simple lay up while slowly bouncing the ball off the basketball hoop and into the hoop.
Khun turned around with a small smile as he took the basketball and said,
"1 point for me. I've said it before, haven't I? I myself have some abilities. You better not underestimate me"
The boy's body trembled with excitement "Damn, how did he do that." The boy didn't look upset but he was very happy and happy because he found someone who could play and also enjoy the same thing as him which is basketball.
"Tch~ That was just luck. After this, I will definitely be able to stop you. Let's start again" The boy said excitedly.
"Hmm~ Don't you accept your defeat? You know don't you? A man will accept defeat as it is. If you don't accept defeat, you're not the man that's called"
"Ha? I'm not a man? Let's restart the game. I'm sure, after this you won't be able to get past the defense"
"Okok, let's start again"
Khun took another stance to attack while the boy in front of him took the defensive position. Just as Khun started bouncing the basketball, Khun suddenly felt the focus that the boy in front of him had suddenly reached its maximum.
"Beast instinct----No, it's not a beast instinct, it's just that this kid's focal point has reached a very high point. He has enough talent to be able to awaken the instincts of beasts in the future."
Khun thought carefully and became more and more interested in the boy who was playing basketball with him. When Khun wanted to move, suddenly the child in front of him immediately responded and took a step back.
Khun raised his eyebrows, "Did this kid read my moves? Interesting~"
"Hey, aren't you too far into taking a defensive stance?"
"Ha?"
The boy woke up from the focus he had after he saw Khun who was preparing the posture for shooting.
"Damn! I forgot he had a pretty good shooting ability. Wait, this shot is likely to go off and there's no way it's going to go in. Maybe the previous one was just his luck."
Sensing that his thinking was right, the boy smiled proudly as he didn't step forward to stop Khun from firing. Khun who saw this just smiled a little and said in a small voice,
"Stupid"
Khun immediately shot the basketball in his hand the same as before. The ball flies in a parabolic direction towards the basketball hoop. The boy who saw the basketball trajectory was immediately surprised,
"This track… Damn, this ball must go in"
As the boy thought, the basketball very smoothly entered the basketball hoop like the first time Khun did. Khun smiled and said,
"Haven't you seen my shooting skills before? After seeing that you still won't stop it?" Khun shook his head in a slightly mocking tone.
"Tch~ I just thought that the first shot was luck. I didn't expect you to have such good shooting skills."
"Luck is also a winning factor. However, even with luck but no skills, it would be very difficult to get the most out of it. Let's start again. I hope you can stop me. Otherwise, this game will be very boring with you not being able to beat me"
"Ha? Unlucky! Don't underestimate me. It won't take long for me to stop you. Surely in the next round, you might not be able to enter any more points"
"Okok~ I hope you can stop me. By the way, the score is now 2-0"
"Yes. Yes. I know it"
The boy immediately pouted after Khun reminded the score of the match between the two. The boy immediately turned around and walked towards the basketball, took the basketball and handed it back to Khun to start the next round of the match they were both playing.
The match between the two children continued until the next few rounds. During the match they both had, the boy was never able to stop or get the ball from Khun. The score slowly began to increase.
However, with the score slowly drifting away, Khun saw on the face of the boy in front of him not showing any frustration or sadness. Instead Khun saw a bright smile, passion and happiness emitted by the boy every time the two of them completed.
Apart from that, Khun also found that the boy's defensive skills were slowly getting better each round. Each time he entered a new round, Khun saw that the defensive deficiencies of the boy in front of him were diminishing and the boy was also getting better at defending.
By the time he entered round 25, the boy's entire body was drenched in sweat. the boy's face also showed a tired expression from defending against attacks from Khun in the 25 rounds of the match they both played.

The boy immediately fell to the ground with a very heavy breath due to the match he had with Khun. Khun, who saw the boy fall from exhaustion, immediately looked around and found a vending machine selling various drinks. Khun immediately walked towards the vending machine.
After he finished buying drinks for herself and the boy she played with before. Khun immediately walked back and sat next to the boy who was lying on the ground breathing heavily and sweating heavily. Khun immediately put the cold drink bought by him beside the boy and said,
"Here, you can drink it."
Hearing Khun's voice, the boy immediately turned around and saw a bottle of cold water that Khun had given him. He also saw Khun who was sitting beside him drinking an orange juice. The boy immediately rose from his position, took the bottle of drinking water that him while saying,
"Thank you"
"You're welcome"
Khun gave smiled slightly and drank his orange juice while the boy quickly drank the drink that Khun gave him. to him without a trace.
