Shanna stood at the center of a high dais, Kallaar on her right. As the royal priest, the only authority figure really left after the battle, finished speaking, Shanna and Kallaar knelt on the cushions in front of them, heads bowed. A few paces behind them was Ahmla, dressed in full bloodgiver regalia, and practically half-covered in precious jewels—that was likely Shanna's doing, as Ahmla preferred to be unobtrusive in his dress.

Omar stood off to the side with Symaia and Astira. Other than the royal guards surrounding the dais, he and Ahmla were the only ones with weapons. Well, with obvious weapons. If Shanna and Kallaar were anything like Symaia and Astira, all four of them had daggers, at the very least, secreted away.
