(The Keepers)

Michael didn't care what he saw on the cliffs that morning. That girl wouldn't be safe. How long would Kurt be able to control himself?

He knew well what his son would feel. if he lost her and he couldn't let it happen.

He searched the drawers of his old shop.

He was ready to leaf through that book and ask the Keepers for help.

As soon as he opened it, the same man, who had introduced himself to him years earlier, appeared.

«I'm ready, I accept your offer.»

«Very well. The city without magic rises today, where every magical creature will be but a simple human being. We have found seven other incompatible couples whose "magical differences" could be a danger.»

«Bring them to the city without magic too. Even if for only five years, they will be happy. This is what matters. They will never have to go through what I've been through. They will die at the same time.»
