"Mom, what are you saying!? That's Xiao Zi we are talking about? He's still too immature to have a baby of his own," Hanlu whined, failing to remember that his little brother was soon going to turn 27 years old. And the fact that he was more immature than Tian Zi, made the rest of the family look at Hanlu as if he grew another head.
"Xiao Luu, why are you getting jealous of your younger brother? Your wife's pregnant with your child as well. One more baby isn't that big of a deal and besides, your father and I are here to assist any difficulty Xiao Zi and Fyre will encounter with the child," Laura said coldly, narrowing her eyes towards her middle child. On the other hand, listening to this conversation, both Tian Zi and Fyre continued to turn red and were both not really comfortable talking about a child that does not even exist. Of course, there was a chance that they could get pregnant but it's not something they are hoping for right now. As doctor Feng mentioned, Recessive Omegas ovulate irregularly so knotting would be useless unless the Omega was in heat. Fyre wasn't on heat at that time so the chances are low.
Besides, based on their experience babysitting the twins and Luangmin, Fyre and Tian Zi both agreed they would wait a little bit longer.
"What!? Why would I be jealous!? As you said, my lovely wife is pregnant and I have another one with Daniel here. I'm just saying Xiao Zi isn't ready," Hanlu countered while shamelessly already claiming that Daniel's fifth child will be his as well. Laotian didn't like hearing it but he let it pass and stayed silent beside his wife while Ian sighed in frustration. As for Hanlu, he knew full well Tian Zi didn't touch any of the lovers he tried to steal before so he's doubtful if the young Alpha even had an idea where to put it in. He refused to believe Tian Zi had done it with Fyre even though the evidence was clear, thinking again that time at the hospital.
"Does he even know how to make one?" Hanlu blurted, making not just Tian Zi and Fyre but also Daniel and Ian blush and were utterly shocked at the comment. At this point, Hanlu was being childish but no one would actually stop his hysteric state. Everyone knew Hanlu always had a denial phase when he learned something he refused to believe.
"That foul mouth of yours!" Laura angrily replied and was prepared to pull Hanlu's ears. Tian Zi and Fyre continued to feel uncomfortable watching them bicker without a chance to interfere at all. Thankfully, two little 4-year-old boys suddenly came running inside the house while giggling at each other and another two followed them both with a similar calm demeanor as Mo Laotian. Not long after, the two little robust boys noticed that everyone was gathered in the living room and their eyes brightened in excitement when they locked on someone. Needless to say, their arrival stopped such useless bickering which Tian Zi and Fyre we're thankful for.
"Mommy! Daddy! Uncleeeee Luuuuu!" The twins, Mo Ching Li and Mo Chao Yu, called excitedly and became even more excited seeing their favorite uncle in the house. Since both have been naughty and made their nannies wait for them at school until they had enough of playing, they arrived late for dinner. The same with their 8-year-old older brother, Mo Luangmin, and the 13-year-old cousin, Lancel Mo, who waited patiently for the twins to finish playing until they eventually got caught in traffic when they decided to finally go home.
The twins ran towards Hanlu and were quick to jump on his lap, which as expected the Alpha didn't mind at all. In fact, he already forgot his argument with Laura and instead lifted the twins in his arms as if he didn't just come from fainting just now.
"Chao Yu, Ching Li, didn't I say before not to interrupt when adults are talking? Besides, you didn't greet your grandma and grandpa," Daniel scolded, seeing that Hanlu was already going to monopolize the twins and maybe give them toys and candies again that will keep them up and about until late at night. Daniel had been controlling the twin's sugar intake but they knew exactly how and where to get it so it had been useless.
"Oh, that's okay, Darling. Chen and I are just glad they've grown so lively," Laura said and was extremely happy to receive a sweet kiss on her cheeks from both Lan and Luangmin who soon also came near Hanlu. The same with Chendong who didn't mind being ignored because it is true that he could no longer keep up with the twins.
"Mother, that's not right... Hanlu, please put the kids down. You can't give them any junk food yet. We're about to have dinner. Besides... Chao Yu, Ching Li, didn't your Daddy and I say not to be late today??'' Daniel scolded again. He had been very indulgent when he was raising Luangmin because he was such a good and well-behaved kid but the twins were different. Although they listen sometimes, most of the time they're stubborn that not even Laotian could convince them when they decide on something unless they could settle it with something else. In worst cases, no one can win against them. Still, they are good kids but because there are too many people spoiling them—even Daniel himself—the twins turned out a little naughty.
Pouting as they have been scolded, the two came down from Hanlu's arms and each hugged the two elders, and then Ian before they watched Daniel in guilt, knowing that they had been naughty.
"We're sorry, Mommy, Daddy," the two said in sync before they gave Daniel and Laotian hugs and kisses. "Hehe, we love you," the two added, smiling sweetly before jumping off again and to Hanlu's arm like a proud uncle that he is. Watching all this, Daniel trembled in frustration because the twins knew exactly how to catch his heart. Additionally, he felt a little guilty that he couldn't spend much more time with them because he was taking care of little Eli and now he's pregnant... again! That was why he and Laotian had decided that after the fifth, he would undergo surgery to prevent him from getting pregnant again. Everyone agreed and his doctor also recommended it since it will also be bad for his body if he continued on this route.
"Uncle Luuu, let's go and play with Older brother and Older brother Lan," the two suggested and as someone who is a slave of the twins, Hanlu happily nodded. Luangmin and Lan were also ready to go up, waiting for them.
"No playing until you've washed up for dinner. Follow your older brother and cousin." Daniel interrupted and this time stood up excusing himself because if he wasn't around, the two would just end up playing again with their uncle.
"You can stay here, Cutie. You're pregnant so I'll help them wash up. You can also just stay here, Baby. I don't want you exerting any energy. I'll take care of Lan and Minmin too," Hanlu assured, seeing that Daniel and Ian were already planning to follow them. Meanwhile, listening to the Alpha, both Daniel and Ian were doubtful because Hanlu tends to spoil the kids a "looooot" that's why he's never allowed to babysit them anymore for more than an hour. The last time he did, the children brought home boxes and boxes of toys, some of them not even suitable for kids their age to play yet. The twins specifically have sweet tooths like Daniel so with Hanlu, they had a sugar rush for half an hour and in the end, got so sick even Luangmin. Since then, Hanlu was banned from being with the kids for too long. He was just not a good influence at all.
"I'll go. You can stay here and continue chatting. I'll also check if Eli's awake," Laotian interrupted, seeing his wife in a dilemma. Of course, the kids have nannies who will take care of them but the twins don't really listen to them. However, if Laotian was there, it'll be manageable although the Alpha also tends to do the extremes. For example, while Hanlu would buy a remote control airplane for the twins to play with, Laotian would buy a real-life jet plane for the twins to ride on anytime they wanted.
"Okay. You can bring him here when you go back. Tell the babysitter to have her dinner first." Daniel instructed which Laotian replied with a nod before he started walking, taking one of the twins from Hanlu.
"Ack! You really didn't need to, Brother. I can take care of my children," Hanlu said in annoyance but one glare from Laotian he just silently followed dejectedly.
"*sighs* That idiot never change," Ian commented, massaging his temples after his husband's back disappeared from his sight. He was happy that the Alpha enjoyed taking care of kids because that would assure him that their second child would grow up with a loving and hands-on father but at the same time, he was worried the Alpha would spoil their child. Especially when it indeed comes out as a daughter. For now, they will have to wait another week to find out.
"I'm so sorry again for Luu's absurd remark. It's not that we're doubting your affection for each other but we all know Tian Zi's a stubborn child." Ian apologized, looking at both Fyre and Tian Zi who were all this time awkwardly standing in front of everyone as they held hands. But hearing the older Omega, everyone even Tian Zi kinda agreed because even he himself didn't expect he would propose to someone ever in his life. He was truly determined to not marry at all but here he is, madly in love. He should have already expected his older brother would act this way.
"No, it's okay... And I understand everyone's feelings, especially Mother and Father. I know this was all too sudden but Fyre and I have decided to be together because we love each other. And although we haven't thought of forming a family of our own yet, I am happy that you all accepted our relationship. Also, don't worry mother, no matter what happens in the future, I'll be sure to take responsibility for Fyre because I promised I would make him happy. You all don't need to worry. I will love Fyre with all my heart and soul," Tian Zi conveyed wholeheartedly to everyone who had taken good care of him till now. This is the first time he had faced everyone like this conveying his deep gratitude since he had always been the troublemaker third son of the Mo Family but this time, he intended to be more mature and responsible.
For Fyre's sake, he will become a man everyone would respect. Not just a businessman, but also a man loving his wife and soon-to-be children. Just like the two people he looked up to. Being a slave to their wives, it didn't sound so bad as he thought it would be before and he won't deny he had eaten his own words. He stood corrected and he wasn't ashamed to have fallen for Fyre.
"Ahww, my precious baby. You've grown up so well. Your father and I are proud of you," Hearing her son's words, Laura immediately stood and went to hug her son. It feels a little lonely that her third son will now have a life of his own away from her and her husband but she could not be happier knowing that he had found such a lovely partner.
"All of us will respect your decision, but if you need any help from us. Please don't hesitate to come or call," Laura added, hugging Fyre as well who all this time had a deep blush on his cheeks hearing his lover's words.
And just like that, Fyre had officially become one of the Mos. This was an announcement that made most people happy but there were also a few individuals who were heartbroken and others felt regretful.
