As Cyril was about to ask Selma about the Prison World their clan was in, he heard the familiar voice of his new cat.

He looked at the cat coming from the front gate of the Subdivision and indeed, it was Magenta hurrying to his side.

'Master… I sensed another demon close to you… I thought you're in danger.' Amaris, also known as Magenta, said as soon as she arrived beside him.

'Oh… So you'll protect me if I'm in danger even against another demon?'

'Of course, you're my Master! It is naturally included in my oath when I became your servant.' Magenta answered matter of factly.

Their conversation wasn't heard by Selma at all since they used their mysterious connection as master and servant.
