Chương 52: Becoming... friends? (1)

7:02 p.m. Oliver stood outside block 13, wondering whether he should ring the doorbell or not. He didn't know why he was doing this or how Liam had been able to convince him to come over. Well, not Liam actually. He was here because of the little girl. He just couldn't say no to her after seeing her excited and hopeful eyes. Besides, it was not every day that he met people who liked him. She had also mentioned that she had a gift for him. So he was here. 

He eventually rang the doorbell and it wasn't long before the door opened to reveal the smiling little girl. 

"Hello!" 

"Hello." He greeted back, smiling nervously. 

He anticipated that this was going to be an awkward visit, but well... he just had to try. He would stay for only a few minutes and leave. 

"Come in. Liam is in the kitchen." She said and opened the door wide for him.
