Chương 2: Devil's daughter's hatred

The hurtful order made Eva's eyes turn wide into fear spreading all over her heart. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING! leave THEM! THEY AREN'T WITH ME!"

"He mustn't be with you but he married the Devil's daughter. Such a crime he committed." Queen consort's words traveled towards her ears which made her anger reach its peak.

With tears in her eyes, there was a sudden urge to kill both of them right here and slash their head into small pieces. Moreover, her instincts told her to let the devil inside her show up yet it was of no use since it will make no change to the current situation

Unfortunately, her powers do not reside with her after leaving her dear father, to reside and live a peaceful life… But who knew she would end up in such a dreadful scene.

Her eyes were aloof with a frost layer surfacing on the eyes. There was dread and uneasiness, gripping her mind with fury taking a troll on her head. Passing the daggers through her eyes didn't make a difference to them.

With logs of woods brought, both her husband and child were covered with the ropes, which will not make them move a single step ahead. Another soldier ignited the fire through a piece of wood when her screams increased and turned more aggressive.

"YOU BASTARDS! NO!!! please... I beg you for this.. leave them alone. No! Don't go near them.. not... CHRIS! ALEX!"

"Eva… Do not worry, Alex and I will see you from the sky.. do not cry my baby.." it was hard to control the tears since Chris knew that it was the end.

The future they planned for, the lifestyle they wanted to give to their son, was all a dream now.

But what ripped her heart was the fact that the fights of adults was going to result in the death of an innocent child, who was in deep slumber without knowing his mother and father were held at gunpoint.

As if her soul caught fire itself when the logs of wood burned with the fire and it spread all over her husband. Subconsciously, she fell on her knees to witness the destruction of her life, her people, and those she loved dearly.

"No...why...why is..this.." in front of her, she can see her dear husband burning alive along with the child.

"Alex…. my baby.." the child, whom she kept in her stomach for nine months, taught him how to walk and the person who was the brightest star in their darkness… Was now ruined.

Not only this but her soul was being burnt too in this pit of fire, with her heart ruptured into thousands of pieces. Witnessing their death, in front of her eyes and as a mother and wife she can't do anything for them

Nothing was in her hand, which brought guilt creep inside her mind.

"Don't...please come back... Chris..." Screams of Chris and Alex were heard, hitting her heart with a lot of arrows. Nothing can stop them since no one was by her side.

Nor did her father hop in to protect her.

But in the end, they are dying.. in front of her, with her entire life turning upside down."No… please… come.. back.. Alex… Alex!" The pain was too high to control when the plague covered her.

Constant laughs being heard from the back, Queen and the King making fun of her pity state while her entire home was taken down.

Was she guilty for the same? Was she cursed for her status and innocence? Probably yes.

With the merge of feelings in her brain, what breached over was the anger, fury, betrayal, loneliness...

Yet, with not enough courage to say a significant word. Her lips were neatly sealed due to the lack of energy and malfunctioning of her brain

'I love both.. of them.....I'm sorry...' the pain of heart and losing loved ones brought turmoil of sentiments. All that surface in her mind was the dead body of her loved ones, which laid in front of her. They suffered such a giant loss and painful death because of her...

All because of her.. status. Despite leaving her father, this name never fades. Today, her weakness turned into a disaster distinguishing her entire life.

The dizziness started spreading all over her body, with her mind slowly and steadily stopping functioning. A fine voice entered her ears, which somehow belonged to the King, "Start the preparations. We have to lock this girl tonight and make sure she never wakes up!"

They can't kill her, she was very much aware of the same. But, they indirectly stabbed her heart by killing her family, especially in front of her.

Her hands were in pain, covered with redness due to the tight grip of chains yet it didn't make a single feeling rise to her heart.

Her eyelids became heavier and finally, she drove to sleep for eternity, with only one wish...

'You saw the sweet and pitiful side of this devil's daughter.. pray for not my return.. otherwise, none will like this Devil's daughter's hatred and anger!'
