I carried Priscilla back to her carriage while I ordered one of her guards to fetch Aramis. He rushed inside the restaurant and a moment later Aramis herself exited the establishment to join me in their carriage as I gently placed Priscilla’s body on the seat.
Arthur came with, hurriedly closing the door behind him.
“She fainted,” I said to answer the worried glance from Aramis and the raised eyebrow from the prince. “It seemed like a consequence of a recent traumatic experience.”
Aramis nodded “My lady fell off her horse and hit her head. The doctor said she was physically fine, but that she might experience weakness and fainting spells.”
“I will see her back to her family,” I said when Arthur opened his mouth, closing it immediately later. I offered my arm to Aramis who blushed prettily but took it, nonetheless.
I closed the door behind her and instructed the driver to take them home immediately, grabbing onto it as it sped away.
