Clyde asked, his magnetic voice brought Ryley back from his momentary reverie.
He couldn't hide his curiosity ever since he noticed the Deja Vu look on Ryley's handsome face throughout their camel ride.
"Yeah, but...." Ryley muttered, his eyes gazed at the sun curving down the sand hills. "I think this place reminds me of a short story I wrote when I was still in high school."
"Tell me. It must be a wonderful tale." Clyde replied, then snuggled and laid his head on Ryley's laps.
"It's a bit... cringe though." Ryley chuckled, running his fingers through the Alpha's dark hair. "But fine. Promise me you won't laugh."
"I promise." Clyde said as he caught the blond's hand and kissed his knuckles.
"So... there was this poor man who got lost in the middle of a desert. He was dying until someone found him and brought him to an oasis. Gave him water, fed his empty stomach, and sheltered him in a small hut."
