"As a brand ambassador, I've caused such damage for Hyacinthia with this rumor. I've also wasted your and Mr. Clyde's kindness for arranging Mr. Lucas as my bodyguard."

The blond still had to show his respect to Claire even when she was heavily influenced by Gracia's opinion. Better yet, he had to bring her to his side slowly but surely, sowing the seeds of doubt in her heart than directly revealing Gracia's real face in front of her.

He threw away his pride and apologized even when he knew he was innocent, just so he wouldn't lose Claire's trust to Gracia's cruel scheme.
