"But what if one of the parents is never present because of a certain reason? Then suddenly after years, they want to see the kid? If you were that kid, what would you do?"

Gabriel blinked a few times and stopped thinking for a while. He didn't mind speaking his mind out loud but the question made him very concerned somehow.

"I don't know, maybe I'll be happy to see them again if the reason is something that they can't evade, say like, going to jail, working abroad, or... whatever, I mean, as long as it's not their intention to leave first then maybe I'll be fine."
