Rachel knew she couldn't escape her cunning little brother. But that didn't mean she couldn't divert the goal of this conversation.
"Don't test my patience, Ryley. I told you I didn't know anything!" She grunted with a sharp gaze. Her tone instantly turned cruel as she whispered, "If you want to know who did all this to you, go get a mirror and take a look!"
"Maybe you brought this all to yourself. Maybe you've made yourself an enemy to many people from being a faker!"
The muscles beneath the blond's cheeks twitched from the hatred that his sister spat out, his teeth tightly gritted behind his lips.
"Faker?" He asked in disbelief. "How am I a faker?"
Rachel felt like she was about to explode, she really hated Ryley's incessant pretense. "That's not my responsibility to answer. If you don't even realize how fake you are, then it's useless."
