Hearing the blond's words almost made him step on the brake hard. But Clyde managed to hold back and just squeezed the wheel with a hint of anger.
"You… What did you say? Someone was on the second floor? Are you sure?" His tone clearly showed that he was in disbelief.
Ryley nodded with a serious look on his face. "I was looking at a small frame of picture on top of the dresser when I accidentally saw his reflection," the blond said, leaning his back against the seat as he breathed out his anxious feelings.
"I held back from turning around because I suspected there must be a traitor among your guards after you told me about the sudden attack earlier."
Clyde nearly dropped his jaw to the floor when he heard the blond's words.
He didn't know which one shocked him more, the fact that Ryley was intentionally faking a drama to expose the traitor among his guards or that he might have been betrayed by his own trusted men.
