Clyde didn't want to think about it, nor did he want to answer the question that came out of his sister's lips.

He subtly understood what Claire had just said since he had heard of a similar sentence before. Still, he couldn't risk mentioning the blond's name in front of her.

Ryley didn't know that Claire was his sister, and Clyde didn't plan to tell him either.

Claire too, she didn't know that the relationship between her little brother and the handsome model didn't start with the latter getting kidnapped and left wandering the depth of Rock Springs' forest, but him falling into the Alpha's arms with a thick pheromone-like scent and a body burning in heat.

"Do you have someone in your mind?" Clyde asked, though he himself had probably started to doubt the same person his sister suspected.
