Wassup people! JadePanda003 here!
I know, it's been a year or so since I stopped writing entirely. Going back to write sometimes crossed my mind but the motivation that was lost once never really came back. Thus, I didn't come back to write once again and just passed some of my ideas on to someone else. It seems like he still haven't started with the Pokémon fic though.
ANYWAY! I've come up with a new concept for a fanfiction so… here I am! It's a sports anime fanfiction, which I never dabbled with even in the past, so I don't know how it will turn out. Don't worry though! I've been doing my research ever since I had the idea come up in my mind and boy oh boy was it fun.
This novel will be a WISH FULFILLMENT, my fanfics has always been wish fulfillment types, and it will mainly focus on basketball and nothing else. No sword fighting, magic, and etc. Just some basketball content with a few slice of life content. Oh! I don't know if I'll add a harem here but I'll just give you guys a heads up here anyway just in case.
Some might ask, "Author, isn't Seiji too overpowered for a basketball universe?". Let me clarify things to you guys. This is a wish fulfillment fanfiction so of course an overpowered reincarnator is already to be expected. What? You want to read something similar to the "When They Cry" series? A fanfiction about an MC who's only power is to reincarnate over and over again and get killed over and over again until they become a deranged psychopath? Or maybe you want to read something about a normal dude that you can find everywhere doing what normies do inside a basketball universe? I wrote this fanfiction to somehow create a pretty intense basketball universe where players with monstrous talents battle left and right! THEY WILL ENTER ZONE DURING A MATCH AND FREAKIN' THROW BALLS AT EACH OTHER LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW!
Ahem, I mean, shoot balls at the rim of the opposition like there's no tomorrow. Sorry, I got so heated explaining things. ANYWAY! You get the gist of it. I also quite hate drama so there will be no overly dramatic events that will occur. Probably only if it's absolutely necessary. That's why there will be no moments like, "Oh, surprise surprise. A player who never freakin' shot a three in all his basketball career released a three and won the game by a narrow margin! Yay!".
Nope, there will be no such events. If there is a close match up, I'll make a pretty decent shooter shoot the ball to maybe draw a foul or take the shot for the win. Or maybe I'll just introduce other variables to tilt the balance? Either way, I'll be sure that it wouldn't come off as a very unsatisfactory ending.
If you want to read a novel or fanfiction that will take you into a roller coaster ride of emotions, I'll recommend you not to read this. Although this fanfiction will not be all sunshine and rainbow, I still wouldn't go out of my way to stress myself out thinking about depressing endings that could happen inside the fictional world I created. No thank you.
Finally, I want to mention that this will be an Alternate Universe that will contain some other elements such as other characters from other animes(it will be mainly because I'm too lazy to flesh out a new character for this fanfic. Don't like at me, I just write fanfics and not originals so it's kinda normal). While I know that some characters will be introduced as from other prefectures when they really were not, I just have to say that the main reason is what I stated above. As this will be a basketball fanfiction in a Kuroko no Basket fashion, I'll chuck in some special abilities that I can think of when the time comes. You can also maybe put in some of your input so that I can have as many as needed. Ah, just imagining it make me feel like this'll be fun.
