Year 1502, Calm Belt
When I opened my eyes 2 years ago, a completely foreign sight, from the one I knew, greeted me. Instead of lying in my warm bed, in my small but comfortable apartment back in Berlin, I found myself inside some kind of futuristic capsule, floating in strange green fluids, with all kinds of cables connected to my body.
Just outside my capsule, staring at me through a thick layer of reinforced glass, was a group of people of varying ages. As soon as my eyes opened, they started to hug each other and excitedly celebrated something.
Little did I know then that what they celebrated was my survival, or to be more concrete, the survival of this boy's body, which I somehow possessed. It didn't take long for my past self to learn about what was actually going on.

After a strange light screen with some lines written on it appeared, a head splitting pain assaulted me until I lost consciousness again. But once I woke up again, I no longer was the same person I was before.
The memories, emotions and experiences of this body's previous owner, which I fused with, were those of a 6 years old fish-man boy, who was abducted and being used for a crazy lunarian hybrid race experiment. What even is a lunarian for god's sake? Till this day I still don't know.
And now, 2 years later, I was still, not only the sole fish-man that survived those crazy mutation procedures, but the only specimen regardless of age, race or gender. No matter what they tried, in these last 2 years, no other experiment turned out to be a success.
As cruel as that might sound to some but me being the only survivor among all specimen was one of the only two good things that happened ever since I was forced into this boy's body… let me rephrase that. Ever since I was isekaied without my consent.

After having finished another so called 'lecture', this would pop up on prior mentioned light screen and it does so every single time I am given one of their lectures or even medicine AKA drugs to destabilize my mind.
The first time, they gave me those really scared me, but for some reason, they were rendered useless. This had shocked my teacher very much, so after they tried another 'medicine' I just acted to be out of it. Till this day it remains a mystery how I got away with it.
"This concludes today's session. Make sure to revise everything mentioned today, you will be asked about it on our next meeting."
My 'teacher', a middle aged woman in her late 40s, reminded me before the usual two guards came to take me back to my room, which is basically a decorated cell. But hey, given the situation I'll take what I can. Almost everything is better than being locked in a small cell, behind bars.
On an off note, since I already mentioned these lectures, they started last year, together with the drug therapy and physical and combat training.
With me being the only living successful specimen, they were too afraid to conduct excessive experiments that could endanger my poor little life, which forced them to greatly reduce the number of tests I had to go through. At least that's my best guess since no one ever explains shit to me.
Back to me learning, my best guess is that, whoever is overseeing this place, wants to make use of this enhanced specimen, in other ways. It's like fattening an animal before you eat it or something like that.
'As if I would let those bastards do whatever they want. Status window.'
Commanding in my mind while walking back to my room, the strange light screen from before appeared again. Something I learned during these 2 years here, is that apparently, no one else can see this thing and it reacts to commands without the need to speak them out loud.

'109 is not bad. If my memory is correct, then an average adult should only have around 10 doriki or so. Perhaps it's due to the training method I was thought or maybe it's some after effect of my mutations but whatever it is, I'll glady take it. Next open quest-log.'

'So, nothing changed since last time I checked.'
Having reached the 'room', both accompanying guards watched me enter before closing and locking the door.
Truth be told, they were nothing much and I could probably take on these two guards but then what? They find out that a full year of brainwashing and drugs had no effect? That everyone was fooled by an 8 years old? Then my only options will be to get discarded, recycled or locked away till they decide on what to do.
'Until I am certain that I can escape, staying put while getting stronger is the safest course of action.'
So back in my room, I diligently started my secret exercise while as per usual, unraveling the wonders of my new body.
It is 1.50m in height despite being only 8 years of age, has bluish coloured fish-man skin, shoulder long silverish white hair paired with big bright red eyes, two small pairs of black feathered wings and of course webbed fingers and toes. I also have gills, as well as a dorsal fin on my back. My face was a typical 'pretty anime boy' face except for the dominant jaw, eye brows that resemble Jinbe's and razor sharp teeth.
Despite being so young, this body was extremely strong, even being comparable to my previous body which is insane considering I was a highest degree black belt master and national vice-champion in extreme combat full contact karate.
'... Hm? Why is my mind so distracted today?'
Noticing that I was getting distracted easily I decided to go through my personal set of katas while trying to calm and fortify my mind first. Something that often helped me in the beginning when annoying questions and thoughts plagued me.
For example thoughts like: 'Where am I exactly? Who is doing this to me? How will things progress after escaping from here?'
And so another day of being stuck in this shit hole went by, without anything worthy of notice happening… or so I thought.
*** 3rd person POV***
It was 3 am when alarm sirens resounded inside the hidden laboratory that held Isao. Those who are trained quickly woke up and got ready to engage in battle while researchers and other staff began to evacuate.
*BOOM!*BOOOM!*BOOOM!*
In almost no time at all, explosions occurred, making the whole institute quake with intensity. Isao woke up wondering what was happening as he put on his clothes. Soon a female researcher entered his room, obviously looking for him.
"You! Come with me quickly!"
It was his 'teacher' who held all theoretical 'lectures' so far. She shouted with urgency, unable to hide how much out of breath she was. Grabbing his arm, Isao's teacher dragged him out before starting to run again.
"Ms Rasa? Where are you bringing me? What is happening outside?"
Following his teacher, Isao tried to get some information regarding what just happened, while acting docile but Ms Rasa quickly cut him off.
"Save your breath! We have to evacuate now!"
'Evacuate? Like in getting off of this island?'
Hearing that was great news for Isao. If they for whatever reason are evacuating this island, then that means they have to get on a ship! Meaning they are bringing him to a ship!
'Holy shit! Forget waiting while getting stronger, once I am near the sea, you fuckers can kiss my ass goodbye!'
For the first time since waking up in this laboratory, he felt genuinely excited. So much that he almost picked Ms Rasa up just so they could run faster!
As they ran, Isao understood that someone was attacking this institute, and that those soldiers running in the direction he came from, were sent to defend until the main research team and other high ranks got off of this island.
'Once again lucky me, for being the only successful specimen of their crazy experiments!'
He thought to himself, knowing perfectly well, that he is only evacuated because they are clearly not done with him.
'Be it experiments or deployment, whatever those bastards planned, I'll shove it up their stupid asses after escaping.'
Isao planned to jump into the sea and leave them behind, no matter what. Meanwhile on the battle side.
A fiery battle was currently fought. A few huge navy war ships fired from the tropical island's shores all the way to it's centre, where the hidden lab was located. Bomb shell after bomb shell landed on various outer posts while starting multiple fires which, slowly but surely was crippling their ability to fight back.
"How did they find us?!"
"Who cares?! How do they know our position from so far away?!"
"Lieutenant! We lost contact with our scouts as well as almost all look-out posts!"
"FUCK!!!"
Chaos and unrest started spreading among all guards. Most of them knew that they would probably die here. The only decision in their power to make is whether to go down fighting or cowering.
It didn't take 3 seconds for the Lieutenant in charge to decide and give orders.
"Order all troops out there to come back to this base! Division 2 to 6 keep defending with everything we have! Division 1 is to prepare everything for detonating this laboratory! No one must learn anything about these exper-!"
"Above! Something is coming from above!!"
A shout cut his command short. Looking up he saw something small, slowly growing bigger. At first no one recognized this new threat, but it didn't take long until the small dot came close enough to be identified as what seems to be a golden Buddha statue.
"It's navy admiral Sengoku!"
Someone with binoculars recognized who they were dealing with and quickly shouted out to the others, but it was useless in the end. Before anyone could come up with a way to defend, his huge golden landed.
"Buddha Palm Strike!"
Destructive golden shockwaves started ravagin the base and it's guards one after another, till no stone was left on another.
