Now how did I find myself in the situation that I was in today? Or rather what got into Fubuki today? For some reason, she acted like Rouge, which was concerning since I don't need two foxes in heat. I can barely deal with the one.
Though it's not like Fubuki is similar to Rouge, she gets much more embarrassed easily and she tends to just like small physical interactions rather than intimate ones.
Like the other day when all she wanted was for me to lightly rub her ear or her chin. Kinda like one would for a cat, I'm pretty sure she meowed at one point… she is a fox right? Anywho today she got even bolder with her actions and actually laid on my lap and requested that I rub her head until she fell asleep.
I'm not one to turn down a request from a friend, but I have to admit I was slightly flustered by the situation.
As far as I'm concerned Fubuki and I strangers still, sure we played online but this was the first time we met in person, so I really couldn't get intimate with her so quickly. That and the fact she was a girl. A good looking one as well and an idol to boot, if people find out we were interacting the way we did, the consequences could be heavy.
But I guess she could take the risk since she was away from prying eyes.
The idol world is a strict place, one little thing can cause the most violent of waves to form and drown the idol to the depths of pain and despair. That much I know, I took in two girls who had to go through that after all, so I always do my best to be formal and distant to these girls, but I guess Fubuki noticed that and since she considers me as a friend she wants to destroy the wall between us.
I would like that too, but I have my reservations about that.
It's not just her either, a lot of the girls have been talking to me once they settled in. Tokino-san, Oozora-san, Tokoyami-san and Nakiri-san in particular have taken some time out of their day to just sit down with me and chat.
These girls are honestly too good for this world. However, it's probably also because of them that the world can have an oasis.
Still, just cause they exist, doesn't mean they should shoulder any more than they need to and from what I've seen around the internet, some people seem to demand more of them. Guess this is what the idol culture is like, though my sister doesn't seem to have this difficulty in comparison to Hololive, is it cause they're Vtubers or is it because my sister practically doesn't care about social constructs? Probably both, but what would I know?
Oops looks like I dwelled on some unsavoury topics. I can't be thinking about those sorts of things, it's not my place to after all.
Anywho, after Fubuki woke from her cat nap, I asked her why she was being so forward today and all she said was that it was normal for friends to do that.
Pretty sure it's not but I guess every friend is different. Oh well, I'll get used to it soon enough, I got used to Rouge after all.
This was supposed to be a lot more wholesome, but then it would probably be 3 paragraphs long so I changed it up a bit, well more like a lot.
Anywho that's all I have to say so I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you all next week.
