The moment that I was inside of the structure, I lost a lot of the light that was around me. It was a lot darker in this thing than it was that close to the surface of the water. There was some light that was shining through the window thing before it was blocked off by Makai. He was coming in right after me. I knew that he wouldn't want to let me be alone in here for long. He would be worried, scared, paranoid, and everything else. Especially since I had already been attacked once since we've been in the water. He would feel that driving need to protect me. And I wouldn't stop him. It meant that he loved me. And I would protect him too, because I loved him just as much. 

While Makai was pushing himself through the window, I started to think about what was going to happen when we started to move away from that light source. How were we going to see on our way through this place?
