Chương 28: Chunin exams [4]
"I'm Kabuto, your senpai" giving a gentle smile.
"Thanks for the advice buddy, so what do you want" Naruto asked him.
"Well as a senior I'll give you some information" saying that he showed some cards.
"Looks like you have some experience in these exams" Naruto asked.
"Yes, it is my seventh time writing it" hearing Kabuto some of them started to lose their confidence.
"Are you sure you got the information right, you failed a lot of times"
"I'm sure this time. Do you guys need information on anybody" hearing this Sasuke came forward.
"Do you have information on Gaara from Suna, Rock Lee from Konoha and Uzumaki Naruto from Konoha" Kabuto started to take information from the cards.
"You don't know about your own teammate" Kiba was messing with Sasuke.
"Let's see Rock Lee, he did 20 D-rank, 11 C-rank mission, very good in taijutsu but very bad in ninjutsu and genjutsu, he is one year senior for your guys his teammate is Hyuga Neji and Higarashi Tenten, his jonin instructor is Might Gai" Kabuto saying that was searching for another card.
"Heh he is not all that" Kiba smirked. Lee hearing these comment got flames in his eyes to prove Kiba how wrong he was.
"Next is Gaara, there is no information about D-rank mission, but he did 9 C-rank and 1 B-rank. His skill set is unknown, his teammates are his brother and sister Kankuro and Temari, his jonin instructor is Baki. Another information is that he was unharmed in all his missions not even a single scratch" hearing Kabuto even Shikamaru interest was piqued. Getting through a B-rank mission without even a scratch is not a simple feat.
"Now Uzumaki Naruto, 32 D-rank mission, 1 A-rank mission. He is good in Kenjutsu, no information about his ninjutsu, taijutsu or genjutsu, his teammates are Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke, his jonin sensei is Hatake Kakashi. He also was unharmed in all the missions. Important information about him is he like to taunt people and make them angry, loose their cool and exploit their weakness, he killed 84 people in his A-rank mission. He also defeated Demon of the Mist Momochi Zabuza in a Kenjutsu battle in that mission. That's quite the feat Uzumaki san" the room was silent hearing this information. Some were fearing him, some were not convinced. There were murmors going in the room that the information might be fake.
When Kabuto was giving information about Rock Lee Naruto was talking with his father. 'Ne father, isn't most of these information about no of missions classified. No mere genin can get these kind of information.' Naruto asked Minato. 'Yes Naruto, only special jonin and above can get this kind of information' Minato confirmed. 'The way he sent his chakra into the card seems like he got a very good chakra control with jonin level reserves, looks like he is a medical nin. He should have been atleast Chunin by now' hearing Naruto's argument Minato nodded. 'Looks like I found the spy for Orochi Temari was looking for' Naruto concluded. When he finished talking there were many eyes looking at him after hearing these information about him.
"You guys heard that don't mess with me" Naruto exclaimed in high voice enhanced using chakra. He then looked at Temari who was watching this whole conversation and winked at her, she just blushed slightly and turned away.
"Looks like there is a lot of competition this time, even newly formed Otogakure sent their team here, they are very much inexperienced in terms of other nations" Kabuto saying while looking around the room. Then Kiba started to blabber like usual, then there were three blur coming towards Kabuto, they were none other than three sound ninja. When Dosu was nearing to punch Kabuto Naruto rushed and tripped his feat and returned while nobody was looking except Gaara because of his speed. Dosu due to his momentum and not balanced enough his punch went behind his neck and his bandaged mouth was in Kabuto's mouth. Both their eyes went wide, other two Oto shinobi were looking at them shocked, the rest of the room went silent and some of their mouths were gaping in disbelief.
"Hahahaha are you guys ex-lovers or something, that bandage creep must love you a lot Kabuto san, to think he would show his affection in front of all people Hahahahaha" Naruto was laughing aloud, Kurama, Minato and Kushina were also laughing on the ground. Both Kabuto and Dosu were barfing out and glaring at Naruto. Kiba was giving his comment and started laughing the whole class started laughing, some were disgusted by this scene, even the stoic Gaara was smirking a little. At the time there was puff of smoke and the examiners came in.
"Settle down maggots chunin exams are about to start, I'm Morino Ibiki proctor of first exam" Ibiki shouted. He the looked at Dosu, Kabuto and Naruto, he was impressed by Naruto's speed, only an experienced jonin or above can perceive and achieve that kind of speed. "Yo proctor san place these two nereby, looks like they have a lot to talk to hahahaha" saying that Naruto went ahead and the other three eyebrows were twitching. 'Am I looking like something else' Ibiki was angry.
In a few minutes everyone was sitting in the exam hall based on the number from a slot, Naruto was sitting next to Hinata and was silently carasing her thighs under the desk without anyone knowledge. Ibiki then started to tell about the 10 questions and the rules about cheating will be caught, only 5 chances, how they be eliminated based on the marks. Naruto could only praise the man for putting a lot of pressure on them with just his words, many of them started to sweat a little due to the pressure.
Sakura was being the bookworm she was answered her questions by herself complaining that these are high level questions, rest understood the meaning of the exams or unable to answer and started to copy. Sasuke activated his sharingan and started to copy the movements of the person in front of him. Hinata activated her byakugan and saw through a person. Shino used his bugs and Kiba got his dog Akamaru to get answers. Tenten adjusted some mirrors with some wires and helped her teammates. After 15 minutes Ino got control of Sakura's body using her clan's secret technique, memorised her answer's and relayed it to her teammates. Gaara used his Sand eye technique to look into other's answers.
'Hmm let's wait till the last moment' thought and Naruto started to meditate. Ibiki was looking at Naruto and was confused internally but was keeping his eye at him. 'To think someone would be this calm' Ibiki thought and went near Naruto.
"Aren't you answering the questions Uzumaki san" Ibiki said in a gruff voice trying to rile him up, everyone was looking at him, but Naruto opened his eyes, placed a finger on his lips and just shushed him and closed his eyes. Ibiki got a tick mark in his forehead and others were also looking at him in surprise, most of them were looking at him like he is an idiot and the chunins were looking at him and smirked. In a few minutes Kankuro went to restroom with his puppet, then Naruto came out of his meditation, jumped and squat on a bench nearby infront of a hidden chunin. All eyes were on him, so he grinned and then knocked him out with a punch, he took the filled sheet and replaced with his empty one, went to his desk erased the name in it and wrote his name.
"What?" Naruto asked while looking around, everyone were looking at him in disbelief even the proctors. Ibiki was giving him the 'Care to explain' look.
"I got 5 chances, so I used one" Naruto said in a dismissal tone and went to sleep. Ibiki's eyes were twitching severely while thinking 'Uzumaki Naruto huh, interesting'.
"Anyone who tries to pull something like that again you can get out" Ibiki said and earned many grumbles.
"HUH!! Why does he alone gets special treatment" Kiba shouted.
"Because I said so. Now shut up!!" Ibiki shouted his last sentence. Then Kankuro came in and gave answers to Temari, then Ibiki started to give his rule for 10th questions like in canon and many shinobi quit the exams while Naruto just woke up looked bored. Ibiki didn't want to poke Naruto again and relieve their pressure of the people so he avoided him, but anime logic did a number on him. Instead of Naruto it was Rock Lee shouting 'YOUTH' and gave a watered down version of Talk no jutsu, to which Naruto chuckled.
Ibiki sighed and announced that everyone passed and just like that everything went the same in canon then a ball of cloth broke threw a window and spread as a banner held out by kunais saying 'The sexy proctor of the second exam Mitarashi Anko' and there was the famous spikey purple haired anko in all her glory showing her curves and hiding only a little with mesh dress, brown skirt and a tan overcoat. Naruto remembered from anime she was like Naruto senior version, shunned by villagers for student of Orochi pedo, so Naruto planned to help her from her curse mark. Then like in canon she started to intimidate the remaining people by how she will reduce the number by half and her sadistic smile and ordered them to follow her to training ground 44.
