Chương 19: LIMITLESS VS ORIGIN PART 4 [A BLOODY CONCLUSION?]

[Life and Death Arena]

The sudden burst of power took everyone by surprise. Just like Lucas's Violet and Green essence, a new type of Red essence engulfed the arena.

[Confused Crowd]

"Yeah, Scarlet Maiden haven't lost yet."

"She is the strongest of all the Heroes."

The crowds began to cheer for their strongest Eon. The fear they felt earlier disappeared.

"Don't lose now."

"Yeah, you can do it."

"Lucas, win it."

"We are counting on you, Lucas."

Cheers for Lucas and Scarlet Maiden burst out from the arena. However, it didn't last long.

"What is this stench?"

"What the hell is going on?"

"This is the smell of blood."

The stench of blood covered the arena along with the Red essence. The crowds got confused by the sudden change.

[VIP Section]

"This bloody stench," Leader Valliant looked towards Lady Alice, "What's going on?"

"Purification," Lady Alice spoke with a glimpse of hope in her eyes, "The power of Origin will cleanse her blood and body of Vampiric Aura and, she will be reborn as a Pureblood Origin Awakener."

"So, tell me," Leader Valliant grinned in excitement, "What is the power of Origin and how strong she will become after fully awakening?"

"I don't know," Lady Alice kept her attention on the arena, "Since I am only a Halfblood Origin Class and her power will be on a different level than me."

"Interesting, very interesting," Leader Valliant grinned, "What will you do now, Lucas?"

[Somewhere Far Away] [Place-Unknown]

Two Legendary Sniper aiming towards the arena.

"Get ready that Lucas brat won't last long," spoke Sniper 1.

"Don't worry, Boss," Sniper 2 stretched his hands, "Both of them will die either way."

"The other Snipers will be aiming to get the kill," spoke Sniper 1, "But, this high-value target will be our, don't mess this up."

[Fighting Platform]

The purification process ended. The stench of blood disappeared. But, there were puddles of blood on the ground around the Scarlet Maiden.

After her second awakening, there were a few changes in the appearance of the Scarlet Maiden.

Just like Lady Alice, the color of her eyes and hair changed into vivid red. It was so bright that it looked as if her hair and eyes were on fire.

"Look at you now," Lucas smiled, "Awakening Origin Class on your own, certain person will be disappointed for wasting that poisoned mythic blood," Lucas looked towards the VIP Section, "You are disappointed, ain't you?."

[VIP Section]

"What poisoned?" Lady Alice spoke in anger, "No one will leave this VIP Section?"

[FLAME PRISON] Lady Alice used her skill. An invisible array covered the VIP Section.

"Try to leave this place and, I will burn you to crisp," Lady Alice screamed in anger.

"Cool down," Leader Valliant spoke with a serious tone, "By the looks of it, he is not lying."

[EXTREME VISION] Leader Valliant used his skill. This skill allows him to see hidden objects. This skill saved him from countless assassination attempts.

"And, this poison only exists in the Eternal Barren," Leader Valliant spoke in anger and clenched his fists, "Don't even think of leaving this place alive."

He looked back at the Elders, "I will deal with you all after this fight so, think carefully and confess."

[Fighting Platform]

"The family I was fighting for tried to kill me," The Scarlet Maiden pulled the tube in her hand using essence, "And, you knew it."

"Yes," Lucas looked in her eyes, "Had you tried to drink that blood, I would have severed your hands."

"Hahaha," The Scarlet Maiden laughed, "That, you would have, hahaha, I finally see now what is going on here."

"Yeah, took you long enough," Lucas took his fighting stance, "But, it will be a waste to stop here."

"Hahaha, that it will be," The Scarlet Maiden took her fighting stance, "Bring it on."

[Bang... Booom] The sound of two unknown types of essence erupted in the arena.

The Scarlet Maiden kicked Lucas. Lucas tried to block her attack but failed to do so. His body flew towards the edge of the platform.

[SHIFT] Lucas used his skill to balance his body and counterattack.

"Too slow," The Scarlet Maiden dodged Lucas's punch and kicked him, sending Lucas once again on the edge of the platform once again.

"Even if you saved me," The Scarlet Maiden gathered the unknown Red essence around her, "That doesn't mean I will forgive you for killing my brother."

[BLOOD EDGE] Hundreds of red swords formed around the Scarlet Maiden.

"Hahaha, so this is the power of Origin," Lucas Laughed.

"Still laughing, you are almost out of essence," The Scarlet Maiden clenched her fist and put it up in the air, "To show you respect, I will kill you with this new skill."

"Interesting skill you got there," Lucas grinned and used his remaining essence to cover his body, "Come at me with everything you got."

The Scarlet Maiden released her new skill on Lucas. Hundreds of swords began to attack Lucas.

Lucas tried to evade the swords but failed. Every Red sword attacked him on a single spot, his heart.

"Damn you," Lucas tried his best to defend, "Just how many swords did you conjure up."

"Struggling is futile," The Scarlet Maiden clenched her fist harder and, the speed of the attack increased.

Without any way to escape from the attack of the swords, Lucas rushed toward the Scarlet Maiden.

[SHIFT] Lucas used his skill and, in an instance, reached the Scarlet Maiden's defenseless body.

"Putting everything in your attack and leaving yourself defenseless," Lucas used his last bit of essence to form a small dagger and tried to pierce the Scarlet Maiden in close combat.

"Arrg," Two swords pierced Lucas's body before he could even react, "Hahaha, damn, did I miscalculate?"

"My power allows me to slow down my opponent's body while accelerating their brain," The Scarlet Maiden pulled up Lucas's body with the pierced swords.

"With this, my revenge is complete and, the other matter, I will take care of it as well so, rest in peace, Lucas Rosewarth." The Scarlet Maiden pulled her swords out and, Lucas's bloody body fell on the ground.

Lucas gathered his last strength and looked at his opponent's eyes, "Are you sure that I killed your arrogant brother?"

"Speaking nonsense even while dying," The Scarlet Maiden screamed in anger. A tint of doubt began to form in her heart.

"Hahaha," Lucas coughed up blood while laughing, "Am I?"
