Someone called her. "Miss Vanessa...Miss Vanessa?"
"Yes, Yes...What's wrong?" She was spacing out.
"...Miss Vanessa is not giving me some response."
"Ah, I'm sorry for my mistake. I didn't pay attention to you."
Their lunchtime is not like Varest wanted, is only a sound of cutlery that is moving on the plate. Something is disturbing Vanessa's mind again. Everything makes her cannot focus.
Varest who was sitting next to her and Vanessa is trying to restore the mood by smiling forcibly. Varest didn't want this awkward situation. He holds out her hand, telling her to get up. His little hand is holding her big arms. "Where are you taking me?" She asked.
"To a better place."
Varest takes her to the better he mentioned earlier, the Grand Duke private training ground. The two of them are wearing a simple training uniform. Vanessa wondered about what he wanted to do.
"I want to practice the sword with Miss Vanessa. Once, you said want to teach me."
"That is true...But..."
I saw the wooden sword that was in my hand. Oddly enough, my hands shook endlessly. The fear of a sudden with blood everywhere. Shadow of death people came and then whispered in my ear. Don't feel it and let it go, Victor say that once.
"Miss Vanessa?"
Vanessa was just silent not moving. Varest immediately headed in her direction. Her face was so pale and then throws her sword into the air.
"Miss Vanessa, are you alright?!"
"I'm...fine." Her voice is shaking too.

"I think I can't teach you how to learn a sword today. Maybe next time..."
"Miss Vanessa?!"
Vanessa goes, like avoiding Varest. Her face was so restless. Even the wooden sword she held earlier. Now is lying down on the floor.
In that training ground, a place to practice. He looked around to examine the area and then looked in the direction of her way. He wants to follow her. But he can't keep meddling in the matter.
"Maybe I should tell Miss Vanessa." Her unusual reaction while holding a wooden sword. Her trembling hand and terrified face. What is going on inside her head?

A strong wind blows, making the leaves fly into the air. The leaves I keep flying away without direction and shown the other side of Grand Duke mansion, a private forest.
A woman walked staggered while touching the tree to be able to walk. Her hands can't stop shaking. She clenched strong her hands. In the end, her hand was bleeding because of it.
The blood is flowing from her hands, falling to the grass. She sat there pensively. "Somehow, If I'm holding a sword. My hands or body is shivering and nightmares suddenly arrive."
Helpless, She didn't even care with her hands full of blood. A vampire strong enough to cure the bleeding. Unfortunately, she doesn't stop clenching her hands and the wound keeps showing up without stopping.
Vanessa finally looking at her hands. Her eyes become frightened. The sound of screaming, whispers, and the face of an unknown person appeared. Black shadows come to haunt her. Their soul with a human form. They wondered in her presence.
"Go away...GO AWAY FROM ME!"
Vanessa closed her ears with her two hands and don't want to see their scary face.
[Why did you kill us?]
[Why you kill someone innocent.]
[Poor girl needs someone.]
[She should be punished for her great sin.]
They are the people I've killed in war during the ten years of my duty. People who don't need to be pitied because someone told me. Someone who run away and rejected me without reason.
"Please...Don't bother me...Just go to heaven you fools."
Fear struck her. Vanessa is known as the strongest woman and honorable knight in the Vampire Empire. She was scared half to death. Something stilled in her chest makes it hard to breathe.
She just remembered there was a small knife hidden in her training outfit. She pulled out the small knife or you can say dagger and pointed it to the black shadow, trying to fight them.
[Your hand even trembling to hold the dagger.]
[We will never leave you, Young Lady.]
I don't care if you go with me or not. Although you know what is my weakness. A fear maybe have possessed me. But I'm not a coward.
I promise with my older brother to get stronger and protect my people. The people I kill are for the sake of eternal peace for all the world. So...this time for you all ghosts who keep following me. I will make you regret your decision.
"This is gonna take my precious mental."
She forced himself to get up but her body is not strong enough to stand. The black shadow of the human soul. Vanessa against her fear. She shows her vampire's teeth. A fire burns inside of her.
She fight them one by one that haunt her and they disappeared. Their screaming made Vanessa laugh evilly. The last black shadow. A woman's soul. She was just silent staring at Vanessa.
The female soul shines very brightly, making it hard to see the way. The black shadow of a woman's soul is transformed into a beautiful person. Before the woman disappeared forever. She said, [Please take good care of my son, Young Lady.]
She didn't understand what was going on. Because the only thing she knows. She wants to fight something disturbing her way.
"All of this is doesn't make any sense. Well...at least I can use my sword again and terrified has gone...I guess...I hope so..."
As Vanessa put her dagger down. Her hand was completely healed because of her vampire body. She felt curious and take her dagger again. She swings it to the left and right. Her hand didn't tremble anymore. All conditions come back to normal again.
"My destiny is full of surprised."
The state of her body. She decided to return to the mansion. "Huk...Blarg...!" vomit, wants to spew everything.
"Ha...Ha...Ha...Ha..."
Don't tell him that she not feeling well. Everyone in this mansion may call her father way back home. She made a plan to return to her room without notice. She's thinking to climb a tree beside her window and jumping. It would be great, she guess!
At the big tree, she did it to manage by jumping and arrived at her balcony door. "Haha." She felt happy and want to open the window balcony.
Unfortunately, "You must be joking?!"
The balcony of her room is locked.
"Thank you for your surprising destiny." She was annoyed.
