Chương 104: Loosing the golden eggs

Vincent's eyes turned to the chief of police, who dared not to speak from any man's point of view. He simply wanted to skim the extra commission from the rich and go back to his already rich enough family. Since Vincent lived in Vista Boulevard, the crimes here were a little sophisticated and hard to crack. Nevertheless, most of the Mafia crimes in the district of Vista Boulevard were the doing of the Mafia king. 

This only meant one thing for the police, lawyers, judges, and officials in this district: their pockets were bulk loaded and the shelves were filled with medals. 

So much that men and few women in this profession worked hard to be just the right amount of pushover while being strict with justice. Vista Boulevard was the hen who laid golden eggs and everyone wanted to be a part of it. The current Chief of police had come after such struggles over the past few years and was finally transferred here. However, one should know to not cut the hen.
