Chương 90: Chapter Ninety

"There are going to be guards in there, maybe some right out the door." I tell Cleo.

We stand by the single entrance into the building from the rooftop, this is the only way in now. 

Cleo nods, "Yes, that's why you're here, or do I need to remind you?"

My lips part to explain why even with my Pause I have to be cautious, but I think better of it. It wouldn't change or help the situation one bit.

Taking a breath I reach out and clamp down on the flow of time around me. For a moment I'm worried because the gales of snowy wind still perturb our clothes but it passes when I wave my hand in front of Cleo's face and she does nothing.

For all I've seen her do with those shadows it wouldn't be a surprise to see her moving.

With a single bolt from my blaster the door unlocks, swinging it forward with a foot incase the men are all waiting for me with their guns aimed, I peek a look and find two guards at the end of the stairs the door leads into.
