Chương 2: Chapter 2 - Devouring Antlers and Pain
Before someone can cultivate, one has to sense the energy of Heaven and Earth. If someone does not sense the energy of Heaven and Earth, one has no possibility to even grasp the energy, so seen logically one can not controll and thus can not absorb it.
For the general population, after they are born they will mature very fast and after one or two years, they will have the mind of a teenager. This has to do with the energy of Heaven and Earth. The newborns will gradually absorb the energy of Heaven and Earth and automatically sense it after a few weeks.
Succesfully sensing the energy of Heaven and Earth or trying to do it has also another name, sensing Heaven and Earth! Because the powerful beings think that the energy of Heaven and Earth is a part of Heaven and Earth and thus this world.
But when they are still in the womb, the mother will give them some of her internal energy automatically to feed and develop the unborn child. Though Evan did not know this.
So when he tries to sense the energy of Heaven and Earth to start cultivating, it is really difficult for him and nearly impossible.
Why it is so difficult? Through my bloodline, my Mind already evolved to a teenager and I should be able to sense Heaven and Earth.
Maybe that is the problem, that I already have a mature mind? No, this should not be a problem, according to my bloodline when the energy of Heaven and Earth first appeared many adults could sense it.
Probably the problem is that I am in my mothers womb, so the energy of Heaven and Earth can´t reach me due to the internal energy of my mother acts as a barrier and I can´t sense my mothers internal energy because it is from another person.
I could try to absorb the energy of Heaven and Earth with my innate ability, but the danger is that I may also devour the internal energy of my mother.
Well, I can try it and when I find out that i absorb the internal energy of my mother I can stop.
When Evan decided to do it, he activatet his innate devouring ability. By looking at the scene of his forefather, he tries to get the feeling of the ability. Due to his bloodline, he only needs a few seconds for that and his innate ability activates.
Because he can not see himself or has an inner sight, he can only feel an energy being absorbed from his head through the antlers, that did not developed completely or he would absorb energy from over his head.
This energy stays a few dozen seconds in his head where his antlers will be formed later, and then the energy starts to flows downwards.
No! This is not the feeling of Heaven and Earth! I should stop the devouring!!!
But to Evans suprise his innate ability did not stop to devour. His newly gained internal energy already arrived at his brain and triggered his instincts to devour this energy, that is very compatible with him.
Overhelmed by his instincts, Evan devours more of the foreign, compatible energy. The energy is being converted by his, not fully formed, antlers and further sent to his body.
Slowly and slowly Evans body is being filled by his newly converted internal energy and being directly refined.
Though Evan has his bloodline memories and a developed mind, he never felt pain before. And body refinement is of course painful.
Ahhhhhh!!!
Screaming in his mind, Evans body is slowly overfilling by his new internal energy.
Presumably because of his bloodline and his fast growing body, the internal energy accelerated the process of growing and slowly and slowly his body grows and thereby the pain till he can not whithstand it and passes out.
