The Wolf prowling across dimensions by Pandora's Reader

Highschool of the Dead & My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア Xover Rated: M, English, Family & Adventure, [OC, Rika M., Shizuka M., Saeko B.], Words: 820k+, Favs: 1k+, Follows: 1k+, Published: Nov 17, 2021 Updated: Nov 9 779Chapter 87: Mom things

Zack - She's a blindspot, so it works. I have it pointed out in the chapter Maccillian ends up in Worm, but for those who didn't see it, just know that yes, Yin is a blindspot.

Guest - While I like the idea of bringing Bitch along, I like the idea of her staying with and being one of Yin's companions more. Sure, I've got an idea for the Undersiders and a few others staying in My Hero while Yin travels, so they don't stay frozen in Worm, but they'll eventually join Yin as she travels. Well, almost all of them. I doubt Grue would want too, do it'd probably the Undersiders minus him and Aisha joining Yin.

Nodachi - Thank you very much.

Other Guest/anyone else asking. - In the original 82, I note that Yin's a blindspot, which fucks with his shit. I'll probably(I say this now, but I'll probably forget) go back to that chapter, and edit it so the reason he gets caught has more detail. My idea is that he goes on lockdown for a while, but eventually, he has to come back or get suspicion thrown on his civilian identity. So, going back to the civilian life for a day or two, he makes sure everything is still smooth there, then would eventually go back to freaking the fuck out in his bunker. But, Raven puts him in her sights before he can go back to base, catching him, and bringing him to Yin. And her being a blindspot, his power does fuck all.

Tsun - I won't just have him steamroll every verse. GoH and DxD are verses he WON'T steamroll, but actually have fun/challenges in. There's some Saeko here, but I'll make sure to give her some more moments. And while Maccillian and Yin's interactions are fun, that doesn't mean they HAVE to be together. Bestfriends can rail on each other without being together.

Sj - I mean, I could. But I'm lazy, so don't count on it.

Spearow - I get it. Sometimes, when there's an OC introduced, I do that too. So while I'm a little sad about that, I totally get it.

Guzt - Hint, it was mentioned during the Danmachi arc, but not brought up afterwards. Mostly being worked on in the background.

OneOddTodd - Thank you.

Tryson - I can't unsee it now. Rappa is now a Pokemon. I'm definitely writing in him using Pokemon moves.

Wently - Yeah. While I write him as laid back and mostly hands off, he DOES think. He's just lazy.

Also, since I felt like it, this is going to be the world order, and my hopeful plan.

After MH is obviously Worm, where we yoink Vista, help Yin out, then leave. Ideally, they will be there for 10 chapters at the least. - After Worm would be a trip to PMM, for Mami and Kyouko, ideally for 2-5 chapters before its back to My Hero. - There, will be a few time skips, mostly one month each, where they get integrated into the family, then we'll get to the actual start of season 1 of My Hero. Things will go on for maybe another 10 chapters at least, and eventually, when the summer break comes around, the pack will leave for Monster Hunter instead of going to I-Island. There'll be Omake's of I-Island though. - Monster Hunter will range from 10-15 chapters, hopefully but I'm not sure, then we'll go back to My Hero for the rest of the first year. - After the year is over, we'll head over to GoH and steadily prepare for Ragnarok. I have an Idea for pairing off Maccillian and the girls against some of the gods, I like the idea of Kiriko verses Uriel, Saeko verses Michael, Saya verses Hera, Maccillian verses Odin and his Valkyries(For irony), while Shizuka and Hestia protect the people. - Not sure after that, most likely go back to My Hero for a bit, then maybe go back to Monster Hunter for another vacation, then eventually, go to DxD.

{One month later, Hestia's POV}

Waking up was always something I kinda looked forward too, and didn't at the same time.

Back in Tenkai, waking up just meant spending the day staring at the stars, the sea of souls I had dominion over, maybe getting to talk to Athy or Hephaestus, then go back to sleep to repeat the next day.

Then came Orario, where waking up usually meant spending some time at the church, heading to work at the potato shop, and a few other things. But then Bell came along, and Shizuka, and Maccillian... And the days ended up being so much MORE. I looked forward to waking up because it meant another new day with my family. But it also meant having to get away from Maccillian, and when he slept in his Gray Hound form, which he did now since he could curl around us, I pretty much never wanted to get up.

Though, that didn't stop people from waking me up.

Feeling someone shake me, I grumbled with all the grace of a goddess, and told them to stop. "Bwop. Drle fer dis." Totally meant to say that, and no once can prove otherwise! The shaking stopped for a moment, and I thought I was going to be able to go back to sleep... Then I felt a pair of hand on my sides, and something furry by my feet... And all at once, the tickling started. I was caught off guard, and couldn't help it as my eyes shot open, and laughter erupted from my lips. "N-NAAAGH! ST-DO-NAHAHA!" It was too much!

After a few minutes of 'torture', I was free, and got a look at my tormentor. "Morning, mo bhandia." My boyfriend/pretty much husband, which was a thought that always made me giddy, was looming over me, his patented smirk on his face, and no shirt.

I drank the sight in, it didn't matter that I saw it pretty much everyday, then reached out to wrap my arms around him. He didn't stop me, and the two of pressed ourselves onto the others like we were a sandwich. "Morning Maccillian." My boyfriend held my sides, hummed, then rolled over, letting me lay on top of him. It was nice, so I snuggled into him. I was beyond comfortable, and I was pretty sure he knew that, since he gently caressed my hair, and wrapped his tail around my waist. As he did, a thought came to my mind, so I said it. "Do you WANT me to go back to sleep?"

He hummed some more at that, it felt REALLY nice when I was on top of him, then shrugged. "Doesn't matter. We can stay like this for a bit even if you don't end up sleeping." Worked for me!

So, for a bit, we just laid there. It was the little moments like this that I loved so much. Sure, there were the family dinners, having everyone I called family sitting together and eating/talking, spending time with my sister mates... And spending time with my sister mates. But just laying around with Maccillian, the man that gave me everything, was just so fulfilling to me.

I didn't know how long we laid there for, but eventually, something came up. Said something was the bedroom door opening, and Maccillian and I turned to see who it was. Surprise surprise, it was our daughters. Himiko had opened the door, and marched on in without a care in the world. "Yo, daddyo! Mini mommyo! What's crackin?" I could tell that Maccillian was just as amused as I was, I didn't even have to look at him to know.

Himiko eventually got close enough to the bed to belly flop onto it, and rested by the edge. As she did that, Lili sighed, and started walking over. "Little sister, it's quite rude to barge into our parents room. What would you have done if they were busy?" That was a GOOD question. Sure, Maccillian and I haven't gotten to... THAT point, yet... But we would! Eventually... Maybe soon... I didn't know.

Himiko just waved Lili's perfectly logical question off, and turned to Maccillian and I. "Well, daddyo and mini mommyo are hot, so I'd probably watch for a sec or two, maybe an hour, then book it when they're done."

I STARED at my daughter for a moment, not really knowing how to take that. (Should I feel embarrassed? Do I scold her? Himiko doesn't work off of common sense, neither does anyone in this house though so that's not really news. I don't even know what to dooo. Ughhh!)

I wasn't the only one confused about what to do, since Lilli just looked resigned. Looking to Maccillian, I saw the amused look in his eyes, and the way his lips twitched, which meant he was trying not to laugh. "There's a joke here, but I'm holding back cause a certain someone is here."

I blinked, but before I could figure out who, said someone did a running start, and jumped onto the bed. "Wheee!" The little one made Himiko bounce with a 'whoa', and turned to the two of us, with a big ol happy smile. "Mommy! Ma!" Eri, still in her doggy pajamas, would probably always be one of the cutest things I'd ever seen. Maccillian had practically donated a full coats worth of fur, so not only was it genuine, but Saya had enchanted it so when she had the little hood up, the ears would twitch. Combined with the little tail her outfit had, and she was the most adorable child on the face of the earth.

Gushing about my youngest daughter aside, I let go of Maccillian, scooted off of him to be on the bed, and held out my arms for Eri. My daughter gave me another bright smile, and made her way over to me. I did my best not to squeal, but it was hard! (Gods, she's adorable. Can we keep her small and cute and precious forever?) I obviously knew we couldn't, but I could hope dammit! Anyway, Eri made it to me, and hugged me, which I happily reciprocated, and nuzzled her hair for bonus points. "Who's a lil cutie patootie?"

The way she looked up at me, those precious little rubies of hers practically shining, and her pseudo tail wagging at max speed, should've been illegal. "Eri! Eri is the cutest patootie in the world!" Maccillian snorted, and said snort was mirrored by Himiko.

My boyfriend looked over to our 'eldest', and waved towards Eri, who was snuggling into me now that she wasn't being addressed. "smols, what have you done?" He didn't sound threatening in the slightest. More amused then anything.

Lili met his look with one of her own, and turned her nose up in the air. "It's not Lili's fault that she prefers the superior form of addressing herself. Clearly, Eri has more taste then 99% of this home's inhabitants." Now THAT got a laugh out of both Maccillian, and Himiko. I didn't even fight back the giggle that made its way out of my throat.

"Maaa. What's an inhabitant?" I had no idea why she was using the eyes on me, but it was still super effective.

Clearing my throat, I was going to answer her, but Himiko beat me to it. "It's just a fancy schmancy word fer someone that lives somewhere. We live in this sweet house, n that makes us inhabitants. Ya got it tiny?" Huh... That was a good way of saying it. For some reason, Maccillian and Lili shared a look, then both turned to Himiko, who had a raised brow as her father and sister looked at her. "What I do?"

"... We're just surprised little sister is capable of giving a good explanation about anything." Ouuu! Buuuuuurn!

Himiko narrowed her eyes at Lili for that, and I already knew we were in for another session of Lili verses Himiko, bedroom edition... I blinked, and mentally took a step back. (That sounds wrong... Does that say something about me?) No clue. Didn't know if I wanted one either.

"I can explain anythin if I felt like it. How bout you explain why you'll still be jail bait after a few years." Oh yikes!

The former Pallum turned Werewolf narrowed her eyes back, and spoke. "Looking young till the end times is a boon you little bat."

Himiko snorted. "There's lookin young, n there's lookin like a baby."

"Just means I'll be able to get away with anything. No one would wish to persecute a baby after all. But what about you? Lili doesn't see little sister getting away unharmed if she tried something." I internally balked at the fact she was using Himiko's former conditions against her, while also managing to threaten her.

"Pfft." AND SHE DOESN'T CARE! "A beatin or two ain't so bad. Besides, ya ain't the only one that can make threats." After that, she turned to Maccillian, and did her best to do the eyes at him. "Aye daddyo? Think ya can teach chibi a lesson?"

Lili's jaw dropped at that, and she turned to Maccillian. "Papa do...-"

"Sure!" WHY WAS HE GOING ALONG WITH THIS?

But like that, Maccillian shifted, Lili disappeared, I could still sense her so I knew she started running, and he jumped off the bed, chasing after her. "PAPA NO! THAT WAS AN ILLEGAL MOVE AND YOU KNOW IT!" It was amusing to HEAR Lili screaming as she ran away, but not SEE her. But that was just another facet of our family.

Maccillian barked out in laughter, and a message as he chased after her. 'DON'T CARE! GET BACK HERE smols!'

The two of them eventually ran out of the room, leaving me, a giggling Eri, and a smug Himiko. "Yeah, I win." I snorted, and made an aura hand to pat her on the head. She gave me a look as it did, and I just smiled. Himiko ended up crawling over to me, grabbed my hand, and set it onto her head. "The real one's better." I just laughed and gave her the head pats. She earned it I guessed.

So, as Eri giggled as her father chased her sister, and her other sister was content to just be pat, I smiled. (This is it. This is family.) And I loved it.

{An hour later}

Skipping along the amusement park, I hummed as Eri ran ahead of me, and was followed by Himiko, who was snickering loudly as she did. Himiko was in a sailor uniform for some reason, but I didn't question it. Lili was by my side, watching her sisters went over to an ice cream cart, and hummed with me. "Did little sister bring her purse? Lili is pretty sure she didn't."

I blinked, and thought about that. "Uhhh... I don't think she did? Actually... Does she ever bring her purse with her?" I didn't actually know, since she always somehow makes someone else pay for stuff. Last time, she managed to convince Rei to buy her a drink when we went to the karaoke place. (When was the last time she brought out her purse and actually bought something?) Didn't know. Didn't wanna ask since if the answer was yes, then there went my yen.

Lili seemed to be thinking about it too, and was watching as Himiko and Eri stood at the cart, and looked over the flavor options. As they did that, Lili and I walked over to them, and the cart.

It didn't take long, and by the time we were there, the two of them had their choices picked. Himiko went for cherry, while Eri went for chocolate. With their orders, the ice cream guy, his hair was a weird mix of blue and orange, looked at us, and asked who was going to pay. Lili, Himiko and I shared a look, and my first daughter and I looked at Himiko. Said vampire daughter blinked, and started whistling. "Dunno whatcha lookin at me for. This skirt ain't got pockets." Aaand that confirmed it, she didn't bring money.

With her eliminated, Lili and I looked at each other, and did the grown up thing in this situation. "NOT IT!"

"NO...- Ughhh!" I was too slow dammit! Lili and Himiko were snickering at me, and I didn't like it, so I pouted at them. "Shut it, I'm the one paying for this." They did not shut it. "Jerks." That just made them snicker more. Huffing, I went into my purse, and brought out 1,100 yen. The guy took the money, and Lili and I ordered. I got some vanilla, while Lili got mint for some reason.

With our snacks in hand, the four of us left the cart, and went back to walking around the amusement park, looking for stuff to do.

It didn't take long, maybe a minute or two, for something to come up. Said something was Eri finding one of those ring tossing stands, and seeing something she liked... Seeing what it was, the three of us had to take a moment to just process i...- "Ay baby boo, we got a daddyo at home." Lili snorted something fierce, while I had to bite back a laugh. The thing she wanted was a plushie of Maccillian's Amphisbaena form. The thing was absolutely adorable though, and I wanted 20 of them.

Eri turned, and pouted at her sister, showing off the levels of indignation only a child could reach. "Put I want the fluffy one. Mommy can't get that small, and the toy is cute!" She had some good points there.

"Yeah, but again, we gotta daddyo at home. He can just make ya one if ya asked em." Also a good point. And knowing Maccillian, he'd make it a pet for her...

I paused, and thought about that. (The house is chaotic enough as is. If Maccillian made her a tiny Amphisbaena as a pet, because I know he's going to make it breath fire for the fuck of it, it'll descend into pure CHAOS! But...) I looked at my youngest daughter, and saw her looking at the plushie, then back at Himiko, then back at the plushie, and thought some more. (I could make her one.I wouldn't have to worry about Eri running off somewhere with a mini fire breathing dragon, I'll give it something so she's safe no matter where she goes though, but I can do it.) My mind raced with thoughts of what I could do with this idea, and what would be the best way to not only give her something to protect her, but also be something she would love. (Maybe something that looks like a plushie, but is actually a real creature? Ughhh! Come on Hestia, what would be a good toy for your 6 year old daughter, but an effective bodyguard too?) I didn't knooow! (Should I ask Athy about it? She's always got an answer or a plan, so that'd work... But she's my daughter... Ughhh! Screw it!) I stopped thinking, and let my aura flash for a moment, ignoring anyone nearby, and focused on my aura shaping.

Even if I never participated in the sparring sessions, I was not only truly immortal, but I had enough raw power to fight off anyone not a fellow god/goddess/Maccillian, so I never saw the point, I was even our fourth best aura user too! It helped that I focused more on creating things like puppies or wolves, so I knew how to make things that mimicked life perfectly until they were dismissed. So, putting my skills to work, I held my hands in front of me and shaped my aura into a creature that'd make my daughter happy and safe, even if that latter one is unnecessary considering who her family/pack is.

My aura took the form of a small egg, around the size of a small dog, and slowly, I gave it life and a purpose. I knew Athy could do something similar with her semblance, but while Athy and I were both goddesses, her focus was entirely on knowledge. My focus, my existence, was all about family, and all that entailed. So when it came to making something for my daughter, my Arcanium subtly reacted... Which wasn't what I was going for, but it already slipped in, and I couldn't take it back... So... Oops?

Meanwhile, in her library, Athena twitched. "Mhm... Something has gone wrong." She didn't know what, but she just KNEW it was something stupid.

Anywaaay, the 'mistake' aside, I fed the egg my aura, up until it felt full, and cut the connection. It was done. The egg, it was pure gold with silver and light blue accents, floated down into my free hand, and I could feel it gently pulse... (Ok... Hestia, don't panic, but you might've made a baby dragon by accident... Totally meant to do that!) I didn't know who I was lying too, so I decided to move on! So, crouching down to eye level with Eri, who watched the whole thing with stars in her eyes, I held out the egg. "Here you go my little one. It's for you."

Eri looked at the egg, and very slowly, reached out to touch it. The moment she did, it shook a little bit, but I felt it react to her. And given the fact I made it FOR her, that wasn't really surprising. But, since it shook, I could tell it would hatch soon. Maybe in a week or two... The egg would hatch in a week or two... (Oh gods. We're going to have a dragon in the house in a week or two... What did I dooo?!) I was internally panicking, but not showing it.

Eri had grabbed the egg with both hands now, and seeing her hold an egg the size of her head was both interesting, and kind of cute in a weird way. But it was the way she looked at me, joy and awe in her eyes, that made me inwardly preen. "It's mine? I can keep it?"

I smiled at her, and gently pat her head. "Yes you can honey. We'll need to talk with your father and auntie Athy about it, but you'll get to keep it." I had no doubt in my mind that Athy was going to give me an earful about creating life on accident, but I knew how to handle Athy. Maccillian would probably laugh his ass off as she did though, so I'd need to prepare for that though.

Eri lit up in happiness, and did her best to hug me, which ended up with the egg pressed against me, painfully. I hugged her back, obviously, and it was nice. Though, a cough from the stall owner, and I noticed that not only was there a crowd gathered around us, but Lili and Himiko were staring at each other for some reason.

{Lili's POV}

'We're asking for pets, yes?'

My little sister hummed, and responded. 'I wanna bat. Think I can get a bat?'

Thinking about that, we shrugged. 'Papa, Big sister Saya, or Lady Athena. Choose your pick.'

She blinked, and seemed to be deep in thought for a few moments. 'Definitely askin daddyo. A silver bat seems cool.'

Lili nodded at that. 'Yes. Yes it would be.'

'What're ya gettin Chibi?'

We hummed, and took our time with this. 'Lili wants a rabbit.' Now, was it because it'd be funny to have a rabbit and name it Bell? Yes. Was that the only reason we were going to ask for a rabbit? Also yes.

Little sister raised a brow at that, and we didn't get why. 'I was expectin a dog or sumthin.' That was a good guess, but considering we were all Werewolves, aside from her and baby sister, having a dog would be weird. She seemed to get that since she shrugged a moment later. 'But, it's whatever. We already got a bitch at home.'

Now it was our turn to raise a brow. 'Why are you calling yourself a bitch?'

Her lip twitched, and settled into a little grin. 'Says the literal female Werewolf to the vampire.'

We blinked, and realized the irony of the situation. 'You're still a bitch.'

Now, her grin grew. 'I know you are, but what am I?'

Our eye and ear twitched, and we had to admit, we walked into that one. Little sister realized that, and started snickering at us, while we just huffed. (We'll let her have this one. But our vengeance shall be swift. It shall be painful. It shall be justice!)

{Hestia's POV}

Well, it was whatever. What wasn't whatever was the attention we were getting... So, in order to fix this, I slowly stood up, carrying Eri in my arms as I did, and turned to my other daughters, who were in a staring contest, while Himiko was snickering for some reason. "Girls." They broke the staring contest, and turned to me, while Eri looked at me for carrying her. "I think we need to use 'the technique.'"

Lili and Himiko blinked, shared another look, and both grinned as they turned back to me. "Lili is in agreement."

"Himiko is ready to Himigo mini mommy!" Good.

I took one last look around, seeing the crowd was still massive, then gave my girls a look. "On three." They nodded, and started getting ready. "One." Himiko did a little hop. "Two." Lili shifted into her Timber Wolf form, which Himiko hopped onto without missing a beat, while I made a Pegasus for me and Eri. "Three! Make a break for it!" My Pegasus whinnied, then spread its wings, taking us to the sky.

As it did, I heard Lili bark a 'yes mama', and Himiko cheer 'Woohoo, breakin the law in style!' I tried not to facepalm at that, given I was holding onto Eri, who was looking around with a smile on her face.

Anyway, we took off, and so far, it was going great... But then I thought about how it'd probably end up on the news later... (Oh I am SOOO screwed when we go home.) I wasn't looking forward to just what it was going to be, I just knew it was going to suck.

{An hour later}

"Of all the impulsive harebrained schemes and ideas I've ever heard, this takes the metaphorical cake!" I was right, it sucked. The moment the girls and I made it back home, it was to see an Athy in her full librarian outfit, just standing there in front of the door... Menacingly... Now, the moment Lili and Himiko saw Athy there, the two of them shared a look, and immediately ran back out... They were traitors, traitors I'd ground till the end of time, or they appeased me. Anyway, with them gone, Eri had taken a moment to recognize that yes, her sisters abandoned us, then shrugged it off as she ran up to Athy to show off the egg.

Now, don't get me wrong, it was adorable. But after my daughter raised the egg up to my long time friend, and said 'lookit auntie Athy, Ma made me a mommy egg!' Athy blinked at her, put a hand on said egg, catalogued it with her semblance, then LOOKED at me. That was when I knew a rant was coming.

Lo and behold, after being dragged up to our room, and Maccillian taking Eri to hers to hear about her day, Athy closed the door, and made me explain. I did, and now here we were, my bestfriend pacing around, in a huff. "Honestly, giving a 6 year old a dragon egg is among one of the most irresponsible things I've ever heard! Thankfully, it is bonded to her, so we don't need to be worried about something happening to her, but still!" Was it bad I was only half heartily listening to this? Probably. But it wasn't like she...- Athy stopped pacing, and snapped towards me, and narrowed her eyes as she stared at me. "Hestia."

I shivered a little at the way she said my name, it was like I was the child, even when we both knew I was the older one between us. "Y-Yeah Athy?"

"Just how much of your Arcanium slipped into the egg? Just a gross estimate if you would." Uh oh.

"Uhhh..." Thinking about it... (It was a while ago, and I'm already back to full, but um... Huh... How much was it?) I didn't actually know. It was just a sliver of my power, but considering my status, a sliver of Arcanium from a true goddess, fully descended, was still a big deal. Athy was waiting on my answer though, so, shuffling a bit in my seat, I gave her the most likely answer. "5%?"

The sharp inhale from my roommate told me that was a bad answer. "5%? Hestia... 5%!? Oh gods!" She dropped her head into her hands, and took a few breaths. When she was done, she slowly brought her head back up, and just looked at me. "I will continue under the assumption that you do not fully understand the ramifications of what has been done." I nodded, slowly, and she took a seat in her comfy office chair. "Dragons are creatures of magic, we all know this." Yeah, that was obvious. "Even back in Orario, in the dungeon, dragon type creatures were opponents adventurers were war to face. The Infant Dragon, the Wyvern, Green Dragons, the Amphisbaena, Vouivre's, Peludas, Cadmus, Ill Wyverns, Valgang Dragon, and obviously, the Black Dragon." We both shivered a bit at that last one. It didn't matter that we were both fully descended, and had more power at our fingertips then ever before. The fear of that thing was ingrained in us. "Yes. Anyway, dragons. The Infant Dragon is a pseudo Monster Rex. The Wyvern is one of the biggest threats in the middle floors. Green Dragons are optional bosses with strength on par with a level 4! The Amphisbaena is a true Monster Rex on par with level 5's, and even level 6's if it uses the environment to its advantage. Vouivre's may not be that much of a threat, but they are still danger when found. Peludas are one of the most dangerous monsters due to the potency of their poison. Cadmus is one of the most powerful monsters NOT a Monster Dex known to date! Ill Wyverns launch fireballs at a speed that should be illgeal, and Valgang Dragons are capable of shooting their blasts with enough power to break THROUGH the floors! The less said about the Black Dragon, the better."

I knew where she was going with this, but did she have to go full on lecture mode for this? (It... It can't be THAT bad, can it?) I didn't know, but I was reallyyy hoping the answer was no.

Too bad Athy didn't care about what I hoped. "Now, here is my MAIN point. None of those dragons were born with divinity! None of those dragons were made by a goddess with a manifestation of her soul, with a sliver of her divinity to boot!" Oooh...

I saw it now, and I got why she was up in arms about this. I'd accidentally made a dragon that could one day BEAT that monster... And I gave it to my daughter... I gave the egg to a potential world destroyer, who bonded to her as her familiar, to my 6 year old daughter... "Oh... Oh fuck."

Athy nodded, face completely serious. "Yes. 'Oh fuck' indeed." This was baaad. But suddenly, Athy smiled, and it confused the hell out of me. "Thankfully, we live in a home with a pack of Werewolves capable of killing gods, and dragons. And especially one who loves you and your daughter." Oh yeah!

Dragons were dangerous, sure, but I had a Maccillian. A Maccillian trumps dragons! I was going to relax, but I paused, thought about that for a moment, then gave Athy a look of my own. "So... Why were you making me freak the absolute fuck out again?" It was a really good question.

My bestfriend gave me a little grin, and hummed. "While we may be goddesses, and live with others who have power beyond adventurers of our realm, you need to remember that actions, no matter how well intended, may have consequences. This one very well could've, but won't due to the absurdity of our new life. So be sure to never forget that, Hestia." Huh.

When she put it like that, I couldn't really be annoyed at her. Because while it was an accident, I'd still made my youngest daughter a potential world ending dragon and given it to her as a familiar. If we were all weaker, and the dragon went bat shit crazy for some reason, it could maybe cause some grief, baby or not. Thankfully, everyone in this house could hold their own... Everyone... "Athy. Quick question." She raised a brow at me, and I asked about the thought I'd had. "Would Eri's quirk work on the dragon?" She'd been using it, slowly sure, but she was getting used to using it and keeping it under control so it never activated on accident.

My roomie blinked, and seemed to actually think about the question. It didn't take her long to figure it out, since she gave me a weird look. "I... I'm not sure? From my scan of it, it's not a biological being. It's more spiritual and conceptual then physical. But it is ALIVE. We haven't tested her quirk on constructs that have been given life, it would be beyond cruel to do so, so I have no idea whether her quirk would work on it." Well, that was something. Athy almost always knew the answer to something, so hearing her NOT know was something I didn't expect.

"Well... Uhhh... Are we done with the lecture?" I got a look for that, and she just waved me off as she turned her chair, and delved into her library, probably looking for a way to test that question in a way that WON'T traumatize my little girl. "Kay, see ya Athy!" A grunt was all I got in response, and I shrugged. If she was going to be busy, I was free.

And so I left.

Leaving our room, I was about to think of something to do, when I picked up some giggling coming from Eri's room. I could feel Maccillian in there, so I decided why not? And went over to her room.

When I got there, and looked through the open door, I couldn't stop the smile that grew on my lips. In her room, Eri was clutching her familiar egg to her chest, it was even wrapped up in a little blanket, while she rested against her father. He was in his Gray Wolf form, the both of them were on the floor, and he was curled around her like she was a treasure in his hoard. But the truly adorable thing was the way he used his tail to tickle her side, while he rubbed his furry head against her own.

Eri didn't notice me, she was too distracted by her father tickling her to notice, while Maccillian always knew. [Party invite from Maccillian Silver Zaka. Accept?] I mentally accepted, and smiled when my not yet husband's voice sounded off in my mind. [Can you record this for me mo bhandia? I'm too close to do it.]

My smile grew at that, and I nodded. ~Sure.~ So, slowly bringing my hand up, I tapped my focus, it was in the shape of a Hearth, and started recording. ~Started.~ Maccillian smiled at me, and went back to playing with Eri. It was just so cute!

[While I'm doing this, how was getting chewed out by Athena?] I huffed at him, and he mentally chuckled. [What? You kinda deserved it.]

I pouted at him, and ignored his laughter. ~I knooow! Do you HAVE to remind me?~

[Well no. But actually yes.] I did the thing he said Yin does, and 'mentally' kicked him in the shin. He just laughed more at that, and even physically chuckled a little. [I was going to make her a familiar, ya know? Have it be her birthday present.] Oh, I didn't know that. [But now, I gotta figure out somthin else. Sure, I can do it, but it'll just be a pain in the ass.] I snickered at that, which made him roll his eyes at me. [Yeah yeah, laugh it up now, I'll figure it out later.] I did just that, and kept snickering. He gave me permission, so it worked.

We spent a minute or two like that, me just mentally snickering at him, while he played with Eri. It was peaceful, warm, and I loved it.

After a bit more, Maccillian looked at me, and stopped tickling Eri. Naturally, our daughter was curious as to why he stopped. But when she looked at him, he nudged her a bit, then pointed at me with his muzzle. Eri turned to where he was pointing, and the moment she saw me, she lit up in joy. "Ma!"

I smiled at her, and made my way into her room.

Getting in, I walked over to her and Maccillian, and sat beside her, while leaning against him. It always felt right to lean against Maccillian. To just take in his warmth and feel safe in his presence. But that aside, our daughter snuggled into me, and I wrapped an arm around her. The three of us took in each others warmth, and it was just perfect.

We stayed like that for a while, and none of us needed to talk. We didn't need to do much really. Everything was perfect, and I couldn't have asked for more.

{6 hours later}

A few hours later, after everyone had come home, and night fell, we got ready to go to sleep. I was in my pajamas, the girls were in their nightwear, and Maccillian was in his Gray Hound form, waiting for us to lay on the bed.

We were all there, but before we all went to sleep, there was a knock at the door. We all shared a look, and after a quick game of rock-paper-scissors, Saeko went to open it. Seeing who it was, we were surprised. "Hello little one, did you need something?"

It was Eri, who was in her little Maccillian fur onesie, clutching the egg in her arms. She looked up at Saeko, and fidgeted in place for a moment. "Um, Mother... Can we sleep here tonight?"

The squeal of happiness that left Shizuka was the answer to her question, while the rest of us chuckled, including Saeko, who reached down, and picked up our daughter and her familiar egg.

Eri was all smiles, Saeko's tail was wagging along happily as she hummed, and walked back to the bed.

With them here, we had to figure out how to get comfortable for a moment, but we figured it out. It was weird that I was used to sleeping with 5 other people, so a 6th wasn't that hard to work around.

Anyway, we ended up comfortable, Eri was in between Shizuka and I, while the other girls were in their spots, and Maccillian was curled against us. Shizuka and I gave Eri a kiss and whispered good night, and we slept. Sure, I might've done something kinda dumb today, but at the end of the day, with my family and loves of my life with me, it didn't really matter.

I was whole, and THAT was what mattered.

{A week and a half later}

After our week of peace and waiting, it seemed like today was meant to be chaos.

The morning started out normal, and everything seemed like it was going to be good. It was during breakfast when things took a turn. Maccillian and Saeko cooked said breakfast, Mammoth Fool meat, Battle Boar bacon with some scrambled eggs, with juice/water/blood in Toga's case, and some greens. As usual it was amazing, but we were halfway through the breakfast when we heard it.

A crack.

We all stopped, and as one, turned towards the source.

The egg I'd made for Eri, which was on a little booster seat next her.

At first, the crack started at the top, and looked faint. But then we heard a ding like it was metallic. The dings kept coming, and the crack grew. It slowly started from the top, and grew longer and wider as it made its way down.

Then a piece of the egg chipped off, and suddenly, there was a golden light shining through it. Then, the cracks spider webbed, and the light shone through them all. Another flash of light later, and the egg fully hatched.

Seeing the hatchling, we all, even Kendo, shared a collective 'Aww!' The little one was the size of a baby chihuahua, with golden scales, my blue eyes, and a tuft of silver fur(?) On its neck. Its face wasn't the standard 'dragon' face, and was more birdlike, it even had a beak and everything! Hell, it even had these tiny little wings with feathers on them! The tips were pure gold, while the middle bled into silver, and then the roots were the same blue of its/my eyes. It didn't have horns, but there were tiny nubs on the back of its head, so they'd probably grow in as it aged.

Eri squealed a happy squeal, and slowly reached out to her familiar. It saw that, and the moment her hand was in front of its beak, it sniffed for a second or two, then gently nipped her finger. Eri took that as acceptance, and reached out with her other hand, and gently picked up the newborn. That's how we got to see the rest of it. The scales on its belly were more silver, and seemed softer, while its tiny paws had tufts of fur on its wrists. Then there was the tail, which had a small ring of feathers growing at the tip.

All in all, it was probably the cutest dragon I'd ever seen. And I made it... (Oh yeah, I made that. Go me!) Eri put the little... Boy? I was pretty sure it was a boy, on her lap, and it CHIRPED. The little one chirped, and it sounded like music. (I do GOOD work. Fuck yeah!)

And like that, our family grew.

[Omake - What's up Doc? Saeko's POV a week before the egg hatched.]

Looking around, I mentally hummed at the assortment of 'heroes' in front of me. Most of the top 10 were here, excluding Endeavor who was 'under review', Ryukyu who would be too big for this, and Gang Orca was working on a case that popped up in his territory. All Might was on standby however, so he would not be entering the facility.

Aside from that, the rest of the heroes were in their places, while I, Kohta, Takashi, and Rei were together, and waiting on the order to move in. Takashi was playing with his new weapon, 'Breaker', a Mechashift bat that had a rocket launcher form, because why not? Rei was leaning on her spear, and humming a tune as she waited. Kohta was the only one in a different outfit, a dark green trench coat, camo pants, steel toed combat boots, and shades. He was fiddling with his weapon 'Chimera', a Mechashift weapon whose base form was a sniper, but could turn into any number of weapons, I was pretty sure there was no limit, and whose melee form was a chainsaw, because again, why not? (I feel as if out of all my packmates, I am the most sane... I doubt it is true, but it just may be.) It was an amusing thought, but not one to get ingrained in now.

-All units.- We all perked up, and directed our eyes towards the radio on Kohta's waist. -Civilians have been evacuated. Permission to move, granted!- And like that, we burst into motion.

With a cheer, Rei coated her spear/self in lightning, and burst through the nearest wall with an 'OH YEAH!' After her was Takashi, who sighed at his girlfriends antics, before following after her. Kohta just let out a cackle of delight, shifted Chimera into a pair of Desert Eagles, and walked in after Takashi and Rei. Seeing that, I was again wondering whether I was the only sane on or not... I still walked in after them however.

Entering the hospital, I easily caught up to the rest of my packmates, Rei was no loner coated in lightning, and fell in besides her. She was spinning her spear, and still humming as she did. "Sooo, if the chimera monster people are here, how are we handling them again?" She got looks for that, and blinked in return. "What?"

Takashi sighed, and set Breaker against his shoulder as he looked at her. "Rei... Did you NOT listen to the briefing?" I was sure we all knew the answer to that.

Rei shrugged, and confirmed our thoughts. "No. After the first 5 minutes, I tuned out and started thinking about our next performance!" Ah. Yes, that.

It wasn't a surprise. Out of all of us, Rei adored the chance to perform as a band. She and Kiriko, when my lord wasn't with us, were our main singers, while the rest of us played instruments. Saya was a master at the piano, Takashi loved the drums, while Kohta was one of our guitarists, and I was the other. My lord did indeed play the sax, and it was wonderful.

But that aside, Kohta chuckled at her admission, while Takashi sighed. "If we run into any of the Nomu, we put them down. Though, the Think Tank want a pair to examine. To figure out what the hell happened."

Rei hummed and shrugged. "Kay. See evil abominations of nature, capture first, THEN kill. Got it!" She ended that by pumping her empty fist into the air, which got an eye roll from Takashi.

"Question." Kohta got out attention with that, and went on when he knew he had it. "Are we technically abominations of nature?"

Blinking at that, the boyfriend girlfriend duo paused, and seemed to think about that. I, however, did not. "No. We are not." Now it was my turn to be subject to their gazes. It didn't phase me, so I went on. "If anything, we are more connected to nature NOW then ever before. Before, when we were merely human, we did not truly understand, nor connect to nature. Ours, or the actual environment we lived in. We couldn't understand the beauty of either. But now? Now, we can understand. We can understand not only who we are, in part thanks to our semblances, and the other due to the fact we are FREE. Inflexible morals do not bind us. Human indecision does not hold us back. We can shift to a baser and more free version of ourselves and run across the wilds, or paws against the earth, and the wind whipping against our fur. We can travel into the woods, and hunt like the wolves we are. We are not abominations of nature. We ARE nature." I didn't INTEND to go that far with my answer, but it just happened.

Ever since I became a Werewolf, I'd worked through issues I'd known I'd had, and ones I didn't. I was a monster, a beast, a force of nature. I was a blade, a weapon to tear into our foes, and fight for our family. I was a mother, a guiding hand, and a bastion against anything that would come against my daughters. I was a wife, an empress, a queen to my king. I was Saeko Busujima, eventually Saeko Zaka, and I understood that down to my soul. My identity was my own, and nothing would change that.

Kohta's 'huh', brought me out of my thoughts, and I gave him a look. He seemed a little introspective, most likely due to my answer, and was scratching his chin with one of his guns. "Philosophy aside." Takashi snorted, and Rei snickered. "That's the entrance to the lab, yeah?" I blinked, and looked where he was, and blinked again. Ahead of us was a nondescript janitors closet, but with my senses being what they were, I was easily able to pick up what he had.

The sounds of machines beeping, and the faint smell of Formalin filled my ears and nose, and I replied in the driest tone I could. "Why yes, I do believe the secret entrance to the mad doctors lab is in the janitors closet." My response earned me a round of chuckles from my pack mates, no one could ever say I didn't have a sense of humor.

"Alright. Everyone up for a competition?" Now that seemed interesting.

Looking to our 'Leader', I recognized Takashi was our leader for now, but I only truly submitted to my lord, I saw the nonchalant grin on his face. Kohta saw that, and replied with a grin. "I'm game for a competition. Might smoke you though." A confident Kohta was a cocky Kohta.

Takashi met the challenge, while Rei and I shared an eyeroll. 'Boys.'

"While I will never say no to a competition, I doubt I would enjoy these kinds of game. They're too easy, even by limiting myself, they do not pose a challenge." Which was true. I sparred with my lord, our mates and pack, and against the draconic monsters created by Athena's semblance, including the pure and enhanced Amphisbaena's. They were a treat, and easily sated whatever desires I may have had. So compared to those options, chimera's based off of Quirked Humans didn't seem all that interesting to me.

Looking to Rei, the boys seemed to want her response, which was just a shrug. "Ion care. Kinda just want this to be done so I can go hang out with Kyo-Chan." Both boys sighed at that, while I smiled. Rei and Kyouka, the daughter of the owners of our regular haunt, got along swimmingly as they were both interested in being a lead singer. They practically hung out daily really.

The boys looked at each other, and on some unspoken signal, threw their arms around the other. "Takashiii, why don't the girls understand?! Kill games are fun as hell!" What?

"I don't know man! But I get it! I understand you man!" The hell?

Rei and I watched as both boys leaned on each other for comfort, and shared another look. 'Leave them?'

I thought about it, then shrugged. 'Very well.' That 'said', we both took center, and I reached for my necklace, the one I'd received from my god Takemikazuchi, and tore it from my neck, feeding it aura as I did. In moments, a long and sharp katana was in my hand. Gripping it, I couldn't help but smile at the weapon. After we'd watched Bleach with my lord, and gotten to the Fullbringer arc, I'd grown curious if I could replicate the feat of the antagonist of that arc. Now, on my own, I'd found that no, I could not.

But my lord and Saya on the other hand?

With my lord reinforcing and 'enchanting', my necklace, and Saya casting Mystery on it, the symbol of my gods faith in me was now my new weapon, and most likely ONLY weapon. My lord gave it the same treatment as Yin's Head Hunter, so now, all it would need would be time, and worthy opponents to feed on. Granted, I wasn't sure lord Takemikazuchi intended for me to use the symbol of his trust as a weapon, but as a god of war, he'd probably appreciate the irony.

That aside, I stood in front of the janitors closet, took my blade from its sheath, raised it, and slashed down. The door was nothing to Izanami, and was cleanly cut apart. Once again, sho...- "Did anyone check if the door was locked or not?" I paused.

Slowly turning to Rei, she looked both curious, and the slightest bit smug. The boys just seemed as curious as she was, but the humor in their eyes, and the sway of their tails told me they were perhaps deriving too much satisfaction at the situation.

Seeing that, I turned away, and started walking into the closet. "We do not speak of this." I pointedly ignored the snickers behind me, and decided that next time there was any kind of obstacle in our way, I'd let THEM make a fool of themselves.

[EXTRA Omake - BOOM goes the crazy bitch! Yin's POV]

The day was going great.

Taylor was training, and doing well. School even seemed to be going better, mainly because I 'accidentally' found Shadow Stalker going out alone, at night, with her old gear. I recorded her putting an arrow into someone, recorded it, then beat the dog shit out of her when she saw me as Macha, and shot at me. It was only 'self defense', really. And if I kept the recording of her acting like a villain, which I 'hinted' at having, then that was neither here nor there... Taylor loved it though, so I was going to keep it no matter what.

We'd tossed Coil's body in the bay, a few days ago, after Lisa had taken her revenge on him. It was kind of anticlimactic really, how was I supposed to know his power would blue screen when I was in the area, let alone in front of him? System just whistled when that happened, not even giving me an answer, the annoying fucker it was.

Without Coil being an issue, the Undersiders were free to do whatever the fuck they wanted... Which somehow ended with them crashing with me... I don't know HOW it happened, but it did.

At least Alec was easy to distract. I just tossed him enough money to buy whatever games he wanted, and left it to him. The moment he understood what I'd done for him, I got +25 rep from him. It was one of the biggest individual rep gains I'd ever gotten. It was crazy.

Lisa was an ok housemate, when she wasn't being a snarky bitch, but she was fun I guessed.

Brian was interesting, but we didn't hang out much. After I gave him his share, he started working on getting a place of his own, so he and his sister could live together.

Anyway, things were going good, I was pretty sure I had the general area of Bakuda's lab, she ditched Raven at one point, so we didn't get the EXACT location, but an idea of where it was, was enough. Coil was out of play, the Merchants were out of play, Lung and Hookwolf were locked up with the PRT, and things were good.

Honestly, things were looking u...-

-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM-
