"I'm not sure if the dungeon would be the place to do so," Harper Darrow remarked with a contemplative expression. His brows were furrowed in thought. "Maybe one of the towers instead?"

As they rode through the streets toward the castle, Mattheus glanced in the direction of their destination with said towers and dungeons. He could not see Eljudnir Keep as a whole but what he was able to see reminded him of something built on steep land. The only way to describe it was a terraced castle.

"How old is the castle?" Mattheus asked. He had squinted and was able to see disrepair on some sections, much like the state of the city—a crumbling remnant as its people struggled on stubbornly.

Looking at the lord's keep had Mattheus think he got a glimpse as to why Illarion Snowe was the way he came to be.
